While discussing the
Daily Kos Convention we've started asking questions about what the Daily Kos is and why people participate.
What is the Daily Kos?
- dKos is a community
- dKos is a media outlet/resource
- dKos is a Democrat-aligned activist launch pad/clearing house etc.
Is the Daily Kos an idea incubator (or "think tank")?
What else is the Daily Kos? Or how could these functions be categorized more clearly?
Why do you read or participate in the Daily Kos? What could a Daily Kos convention do to enhance what you're already getting out of the Daily Kos? How could it add a new dimension for you?
And don't forget to register for the Daily Kos Convention.
In
an earlier diary I asked people to brainstorm and provide feedback on potential keynote speakers. You are invited to prioritize people from the "A list" which has been divided into
list one,
list two,
list three and
list four. Post gripes about who should be on the "A list" and "B list" in
the earlier diary.
