Well, the Clark campaign
finally has a campaign manager, and he's a good one -- Paul Johnson.
Part of the Daschle group of top-notch South Dakota political consultants (some of the best in the Democratic Party), Johnson was an integral part of Mark Pryor's Senate win in Arkansas -- the only Senate pickup for the Democrats in 2002.
Johnson was also Graham's campaign manager. And while that was no winning effort, it goes to show that the candidate is still the most important part of any race.
Now Johnson has to make peace in a campaign that is still reportedly at war with itself (DC faction vs. Arkansas faction vs. Draft factions).
