The latest Quinnipiac polling, two months after the last one. Here's the highlights:
- Casey's lead over Santorum has moved from 52-34 in October to 50-38 now, about the same as it was in July. Casey still leads among independents 48-37.
- In a new question, When it is pointed out to pro-choice Casey voters that he and Santorum both oppose legalized abortion, 63 percent of the Democrat's supporters say they still will vote for him, while 22 percent say they will not vote in this race." Six percent volunteered that they'd find someone else to vote for.
- Favorables: Santorum 35-28 (up from 33-30), Casey 40-6 (up from 38-9).
- Santorum's job approval is up to 48-38 from 43-41. The President is at 38-59.
- When asked, "Would you say [X's] views on the issues are in the mainstream or are they extreme?", Santorum had a 49-35 split, Casey 57-13.
