Best Democrat/Progressive/Liberal periodical?

What's your favorite political periodical?  What are you subscribed to?  Why do you like them/it?  Do you ever read conservative periodicals, and if so, which and why?

Lets restrict this to magazines and papers you recieve in the mail or buy or pick up regularly, in paper form.

I got 1 year of Mother Jones for my birthday, its fairly good.  I also read The Seattle Weekly (a news paper with a liberal slant) frequently as well as The Stranger (more of a music and arts and alt-culture paper, but some news too), two local papers.  I might subscribe to more but I read so much online and can't afford a ton of subscriptions
