This diary tells the story of 1st Lt. Jennifer Dyer, who was raped at her base, given two weeks to "get over it" and then accused of being AWOL when she refused to report back to the same base where her assailant still worked. She requested that she be allowed to report to another base, and the Army refused to consider it.
Well, according to the Oregonian, the Army has heard about it, and has reconsidered its position. While apparently 1st Lt. Dyer heard about this from the media, and is still talking with lawyers about what she will do, it still seems to be good news for her.
