C-span is reporting not only did Harriet Miers give money to Al Gore's 1988 campaign........

She also gave money to Lloyd Bentsen.

Democrats should think about supporting her.....not blocking her.

Today, President Bush has chosen White House Counsel Harriet Miers as associate justice of the U.S. Supreme Court. If confirmed by the Senate, Miers, 60, would join Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg as the second woman on the nation's highest court and the third to serve there. She has never been a judge and was the first woman to serve as president of the Texas State Bar and the Dallas Bar Association
