Young republicans

According to MSNBC the missing boy scout was actually hiding from rescuers for much of the time because he believed they wanted to abduct him.  This kid was in a very real danger of starving or dyeing from exposure, but he was far more scared about the unlikely chance that he would be abducted.

This seems to show the entire Republican attitude towards danger, they are very scared of unlikely events, such as the chance of Hussein acqiring nuclear weapons.  While at the same time they completely ignore real dangers, like porous borders.

How are you supposed to deal with people that have the same mentality as an 11 year old boy.
