So, this is my first week back at college, and yesterday I'm looking to sell back a couple of books. While standing in the line, I see taped on the tent above the cashier an appropriately yellow sheet of paper with the line "You are not alone!" in bold, along with that goddamned elephant logo, touting the SJSU young republicans club, and come along to their first meeting next week. The girl running the buyback wasn't even aware of it, so she didn't mind at all when I scrawled "ENLIST, COWARDS" across the face of it in bold hiliter. I told my wife about this when I got home, and she had an idea....
She said she heard Randi Rhodes talking about getting recruiters to come to gatherings of these chickenhawks; with the exact time, date, and location known, I should call up the local recruiter and "invite" them to come on down.
I am asking here from all the wisdom of the KOS community if there is any precedent for my getting into trouble doing this; some law against "defrauding a military recruiter" or some such nonsense.
Can I get away with this? And if so, how should I go about it? Advice, please....
