Dean leading SC?

Political Wire is reporting that a Zogby poll has shown Dean with a very small lead in S.C.

More details to come later.

However if this is true this will increase the inevitability meme that Dean and Trippi want to create and lead to a rather bloodless primary.  South Carolina is where Clark and Edwards are supposed to make a stand for the right to be an anti-Dean candidate for the month of February.  If Dean is able to win S.C. or even have a very convincing second place (lose by 2-3%) then the race should effectively be over as Dean is looking to win Iowa and New Hampshire plus the Southwest on Feb. 3.  If Dean can show  strength in the Deep South, then he has shown national strength.
