partisan college president search

At Lafayette College there will be a new search for a President.  Current president Arthur Rothkopf will be stepping down soon.  But what is interesting is there is only 1 student on the serach committee.  What makes things mysterious are that students don't know how the 1 student was chosen, didn't know how to let the administration know they were interested in the search committee.  But here is the kicker: the student selected to serve on the committee is the former head of the COLLEGE REPUBLICANS!  And the kid isn't even here, he is abroad this semester.  This seems partisan because Rothkopf served in first Bush administration.
