Don't get me wrong - I think the Post is a horrible newspaper, but their sports coverage is decent, so I read the online edition when I get the chance. Now, a while back, Kos had a frontpage entry about how to register for papers that required you to sign up online (email: kos@dailykos.com, password: dailykos). Not wanting to register with the Post, I used Kos' account (probably set up by someone else) to read the sports news.
Well, I try getting my sports fix today, but after entering Kos' information, it doesn't work - the website returns that it does not have Kos' email on file. So I re-registered, but now there is a confirmation step, and given that Kos probably doesn't check those emails, I won't be able to read their sports section online anymore.
Just an interesting nugget of information. I'll get my Yankees news from the Daily News from now on - no registration needed there.
