Did anyone ever get a final Iowa vote?

All I can find is that 13,000 vote difference that we all had election night. Were the absentee ballots ever all counted?

AP said that election officials decided that the absentee and provisional ballots wouldn't make a difference in the outcome. But supposedly Iowa was going to count them anyway. And then the story dropped out of the Des Moines Register and other Iowa media. Does anyone know what happened?
