Lancet Review--Victim of faith based stats?

A respected medical journal surveys the damage created by an invasion force. Using standard practices  of epidemeology and demographic survey,  they find solid statistical evidence of a massacre.  No competing survey is carried out by allied forces, probably because they know the awful truth. Yet their findings  are largely ignored by the British and American press.   These same TeeVee people base their income on Nielsen ratings for heaven's sake!  Billions of dollars awarded based on the viewing habits of  a few hundred couch potatoes.  Shit who needs numbers anymore "we are an empire now and we create new realities...." http://www.thelancet.com/journal/vol364/iss9445/early_online_publication
