Funereal thoughts

Just got back from a wake. Lots of nice things said about the deceased, what a generous guy he was, etc.,etc.

Goes to show you how perverse this election season is, I found myself wondering if he had sent in an absentee ballot. Well, then I realized that wasn't too likely since our primary is one of the 3/2 variety, not the 2/3.

Worse, I found myself speculating on his political affiliation, decided on the spot he was probably a Republican, & thus I needn't worry about whether he sent in a ballot or not !

Good grief ! It's come to this. Oh well.
