Did you see this little blurb about Disney's possible violation of its own corporate bylaws?
http://biz.yahoo.com/ap/041020/disney_lawsuit_7.html
It's grounds for a shareholder lawsuit when a company fails to follow its own governance..
So...any chance that shareholders of Sinclair have copies of the corporate bylaws, the corporate charter and the authorization policy?
I'll bet that the Smiths have violated something contained in one of these documents and that shareholders should be looking through them carefully.
In fact, I'm wondering whether the comptroller of the State of New York, might not want to take that same approach. His letter this week to Sinclair was wonderful, but didn't include anything that suggested he's looked at these key documents.
Anybody still own a chunk of SBG? Why not see if you can get copies of these key documents and comb them over. Sinclair may have lost the "Stolen Honor" skirmish; let's see if they should lose the next battle and eventually the war for publicly-owned airwaves.
