Hitler in color.

For history buffs here are some recenly re-published color photographs of WWII Germany and the German army.

One interesting photo shows von Ribbentrop speaking to journalists explaining the "preventative strike" against Russia. (Not that different from Iraq.)

Another is shows a day at the beach by a regular couple surrounded by their Nazi flags, just as we might surround a car dealership with U.S. flags.

In color it's all so ordinary and almost unthreatening.
