Mr. Hannity,
As a constituent of Mr. Moran, I would appreciate an on-air apology to Mr. Moran and those who live in the 8th district of the Commonwealth of Virginia. I would respectfully request that your apology not mirror that of President Bush's "I regret my private conversation was overheard" nonsense, and live up to your own standards of forthright openess.
(more after the flip)
I am not sure what you mean by your "I can't stand these people" comment, other than you can't tolerate dissent ot the notion that Mr. Moran wasn't going to repeat predictable talking points to you (which I'm sure you had prepared for, it can be frustrating when things do not go as planned).
Before you become so dismissive of Mr. Moran, I would like to remind you that he won his district with 60% of the vote in 2004. Compare that to big names in the Republican Party like Mr. DeLay (55%), and Mr. Hyde (56%), and I think it's wise to be less flip about his opinions. I have my disagreements with his positions, but I have always been able to sustain an intelligent dialogue with his office, without venting like a scolded child.
I expect you to be able to take it just as much as you give it. If you now feel "targeted" it is not because of your viewpoints, but it is because of HOW you choose to express them: in a manner befitting a stubborn teenager rather than someone with real interest in debating an issue.
I could end by quoting our esteemed Vice President and the way which he addressed Sen. Leahy, but I guess I'd rather let you know how bush-leauge this was. Or maybe more appropriately, 'major-league.'
