The Washington Post is running a chilling
slide show on the main emergency room in Baghdad where most U.S. casualties are treated.
As you might expect, some of the photos are not for the squeamish. I found slide #4 to be positively cringe-inducing.
I believe it is important for us to keep the names and faces of U.S. casualties in front of the American public so they can see for themselves who some of the victim's of Bush's war are.
The Republicans may attempt to make the point that we are exploiting the deaths of troops for our own political advantage, but the truth is that the greatest gift we can give to the troops who have been needlessly sent over there is to make sure that those at home know what they are experiencing.
