Action alert: Call on McCain to Denounce Rove!

John McCain called on Dick Durbin to apologize for his remarks about abuse at Guantanamo Bay, and absolved Durbin, when he apologized...

LA Times: Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.), who Sunday had urged Durbin to apologize and predicted that he would do so within a week, said Durbin had done "the right thing, the courageous thing."

McCain must call on Bush to denounce Karl Rove's remarks.  

Rove: Conservatives saw the savagery of 9/11 in the attacks and prepared for war; liberals saw the savagery of the 9/11 attacks and wanted to prepare indictments and offer therapy and understanding for our attackers ... Has there ever been a more revealing moment this year?... Al Jazeera now broadcasts the words of Senator Durbin to the Mideast, certainly putting our troops in greater danger. No more needs to be said about the motives of liberals.

McCain must call on Rove to apologize himself or resign.  Any thing less demonstrates that McCain has become a Frist-lite lapdog of the administration and a facilitator of those who hate America.
