Early State Phone Banking

Do you want to help the Democrats win in 2004? Do you want to do something that only costs a small amount of your time, and no money? Consider using your weekend minutes to "virtual phone bank" for your candidate's campaign. Regardless of who it is, the more often people are contacted by real people, who are warm, sympathetic and energized about the future of the Democratic Party and progressive politics, the more they will feel they have a role to play. Iowa and New Hampshire get the visibility, but North Dakota, Arizona, Oklahoma and other "super seven" states are just, if not more, important, because they will be involved in the 2004 election in Presidential - and often House and Senate races.

Take the time during your phone banking, for just a moment, to remind people that we need a new President and a new Congress that will move an active and sensible agenda for America.

The Republicans have done us one favor: they have torn down the old Democratic Party. Now it is our turn to start building it up.
