I think there is a larger issue here than about who to support.. its something that has been bothering me before this past debate, and this past one just made it clearer..
(NOTE: I am AGAINST ANYONE dropping out before the votes are cast.. nor am I calling for people to drop out right after, thats thier decision not mine.)
One of the big issues I've seen this year is simply.. we have to many damn people running.
A 9 person field is huge.. though its 8 now really since Graham dropped out. Its almost TO huge..
Do we really NEED 8 people running? The fact that we HAVE that many people running is really making debates a charade. How can you explain anything in 60 seconds? Everyone almost always goes over the time limit, simply because there ISN'T enough time to say anything of substance.
Are thier reasons to HAVE a big field though?
I don't want the Democratic party to become one of those "You can run this year" things, were someone higher up gets to decide who runs and who doesn't. But this kind of free-for-all nomination process is kinda lame I think.
Any thoughts?
