Ok, I know that we aren't that dumb. We knew that the eavesdropping/spying was done on more than people with terrorist ties. Oh by the way, let's call it what it is spying. What you mother did to you standing outside you room, while you were on the phone. When you take the time to set up the equipment to listen in on the phone calls of a person, and, or computer communications, that is spying.
Not naming the telecommunications companies, the Times reported that the NSA, got help from American companies to spy on domestic calls, and e-mails.

The NSA, with help from American telecommunications companies, obtained access to streams of domestic and international communications, said the Times in the report late Friday, citing unidentified current and former government officials
It is amazing that this administration has their true blue followers are so hoodwinked that they didn't see this coming.
The Washington Post Reported yesterday that, Senator Tom Dacshle
[who has become the Rights new punching bag], told of how the (P)Resident tried to get the War Powers Act to cover the United States, and congress did not give him the authority to perform domestic wiretaps. Someone is massing with Check and Balances,
Mr. (P)Resident. Mr. (P)Resident if you keep messing up, not even
"PNAC" will save your butt. It seems the only way that this administration will stay out of jail, is to remain in power.
But the Times said that NSA technicians have combed through large volumes of phone and Internet traffic in search of patterns that might lead to terrorists.
The volume of information harvested from telecommunications data and voice networks, without court-approved warrants, is much larger than the White House has acknowledged, the paper said, quoting an unnamed official.
The story quoted a former technology manager at a major telecommunications firm as saying that companies have been storing information on calling patterns since the Sept. 11 attacks, and giving it to the federal government. Neither the manager nor the company he worked for was identified.
Ok, all of those who don't bow down to King George, take a step forward. Well look at this, I see the numbers are growing. ABA
ps. I would like to thank ez writer, for the diary he put out yesterday on the Dacshle story. It was of major importance, and a key piece in the puzzle.
