One more local soldier reported in today's paper as KIA in Iraq. Pfc. Ramon Villatoro.
With a wife of seven months. A pregnant wife.
He was 19.
19.
He went to my daughter's high school. Graduated in her class.
I hope his father's words are spread far and wide. From the story:

The elder Villatoro is filled with mixed emotions. He's proud of his son, but he's also angry the boy he raised was lost in a war he thinks is more about oil than fighting terrorism.
His says his other son, Fernely, 18, has vowed to join up and avenge his brother's death. He won't, not if his father has his way.
"I don't want any boy to go into the Army," he said. "No matter how big the (college aid) package they're giving them, the first thing they do to them is send them to Iraq."
