http://www.fema.gov/news/event.fema?id=3455, shows that, less than 24 hours after Hurricane Charley struck Florida last year, planes were on the way to Lakeland AFB, Florida, with supplies for the survivors.
Less than 24 hours!
So: Why was the Bush administration so tardy this time?
Could it be . . . political? Maybe that Bush was trying to impress the citizens of Florida, a swing state, in an election year?
