Earlier this week I asked for your help to put Little Bitsy, a rescued dog, over the top for the week in the Cutest Dog Competition. And you came through! She won this week!
But it's the semifinals now. She needs your help to move on and win $5,000 or the one million dollar prize, all of which will go to help rescue animals in Western NC.
More over the jump...
Little Bitsy is a rescued dog, found abandoned on the side of the road by Evelyn Bridges who works tirelessly for animal rescue in western North Carolina. Little Bitsy was adopted out, nursed back to health, and her new owners have pledged that 100% of any money Little Bitsy wins will go to help Evelyn's animal rescue efforts.
Here's Little Bitsy:
What a cutie!
Won't you help Little Bitsy help other animals like herself? All it takes is votes. That's where you can help! You do have to register to vote, if you haven't already. And now you can choose among the Top 12 semifinalists. They're all cute, but Little Bitsy is also going to donate all her winnings to help other animals in need of rescue like herself. So please help Little Bitsy help other animals. Vote Little Bitsy!
If you haven't seen the video that I linked in the previous diaries of Little Bitsy, her owner and Evelyn who runs the animal rescue, here it is again:
And there's late breaking news. The Top Four Finalists are going to appear on Oprah's show on Wednesday! No links to confirm, but the finalists' owners have been contacted and the word is out. Little Bitsy, a former rescue dog, would be such a great dog to have on Oprah to help promote animal rescue and adoption! Please vote and help her get there.
Votinggoes on until midnight Pacific Time tonight (Sunday). Every votecounts.
Vote Little Bitsy!
