Don't blame the CIA. We all know it was the Office of Special Plans creating the fake intelligence.
The OSP created the fake intelligence via fake sources like Chalabi who we were paying real money for this fake information. It was OSP. OSP! OSP and Cheney, Rove, Wolfowitz, Rumsfeld, Rice, Bush, and the rest of the lying liars led us into the war based on LIES. And the main point is that they really KNEW they were lies, but used the fake sources to pass the buck, shrug our shoulders and say 'It's not our fault'.
So, since they knowingly used this false information, the administration itself are also liars. They repeatedly removed all uncertainties in their pre-war talking points. By doing that, the Bush administration tried to strike fear into the hearts of Americans. They inflicted emotional terrorism on the population. At best, doing so is extremely unpatriotic, and at worst, it borders on treason. Not to mention the lies and threats to current and former government employees in all federal departments on a host of issues like the environment and medicare. There will be no blaming others. They are not above the law. They will be held accountable for their lies in November.
