With only days to go before the special election to fill Ted Kennedy's senate seat, President Obama says si se puede to Massachusetts:
President Obama will be heading to Massachusetts to campaign for Martha Coakley this Sunday, according to two senior sources informed of the president’s decision, a last-minute effort to give the Democrat a needed boost in the Senate race.
This last minute decision to send the President in to campaign for Coakley indicates the urgency with which the White House views a race that, depending on whose poll you're reading, has Coakley up, Brown up, or is a dead-heat.
The bottom line is, special elections are notoriously difficult to poll and in the end it will come down to who does a better job at getting out the vote. So whether you're in Massachusetts or out-of-state, how about spending some time this weekend helping to ensure that Ted Kennedy's senate seat isn't taken over by a darling of the teabaggers.
If you're in Massachusetts.
For out-of-state volunteers.
