Ron Johnson, the Republican Senate candidate in Wisconsin challenging Russ Feingold, offers himself as a successful businessman who knows how to create jobs.
However, a majority of Ron Johnson's business (about 70% in 2009) comes from Bemis corporation - the company that was run by Ron Johnson's father-in-law and then later by his brother-in-law.
Ron Johnson got his start by marrying the daughter of a wealthy plastics manufacturer (Howard Curler).
Ron Johnson joined his brother-in-law Pat Curler's company (PACUR) in the 1970's.
PACUR made it through the early years by having Ron Johnson's father-in-law's company as their only client.
PACUR still gets a majority of business from the same company (now Bemis Corporation) that was run by his father-in-law and brother-in-law. (see below for supporting documents)
I have one simple question...
Is Ron Johnson a free market champion or his he simply a family welfare queen?
Reports show that in 2009, $9.5 million of the total $13.4 million in revenue for Ron Johnson's company came from contracts with Bemis corporation.

His entire campaign is built on the notion that he knows how to create jobs, but the facts show that most of his business comes from family connections.
