HOW STUPID ARE YOU? </p> <p>Listen, I get it, you don’t agree with HRC. Maybe you don’t like how she supported criminal justice laws that sent minorities to jail. Maybe you don’t like that she didn’t support gay rights until recently. Maybe you don’t like her Wall St. contributions.</p> <p>Guess what, THOUGH SHIT!</p> <p>You best believe that if she wins the Nomination not only am I gonna suck it up and vote for her, I am getting as involved in her campaign as I am with Bernie. DO YOU NOT KNOW WHAT’s AT STEAK HERE? Any freaking republican president will undo years of progress for so many people:</p> <ul> <li>There’s 1 (possibly 2) Supreme Court justices that the next president is going to fill and things like reproductive rights, immigration, lgbt rights, the voting rights act would be destroyed by a conservative majority in the court.</li> <li>The ACA would most likely get repealed, meaning millions people would loose their healthcare. </li> <li>Protections for federal employees will get repealed.</li> <li>The minimum wage won’t get raised any time soon, s**t, some of them even want to repeal the minimum wage laws.</li> <li>Hate crimes against muslims will keep rising (like they are now)</li> </ul> <p>HOW FU***NG PRIVILEGED ARE YOU TO SAY YOU’RE DOING THIS TO TEACH THE DNC A LESSON? ARE YOU REALLY WILLING TO PUT PEOPLE’S LIVES (LITERALLY) AT RISK BECAUSE YOU WANT TO POUT AND CROSS YOUR ARMS OVER YOUR PREFERRED CANDIDATE LOSING??</p> <p>Also, let’s not pretend this is all the DNC’s fault. Bernie has a lot of support with young people. If all of these young people who like Bernie went out and voted, we wouldn’t be having this discussion. But guess what, they didn’t. They didn’t go vote, they didn’t go caucus, they just didn’t. So don’t excuse Bernie’s team of not actually pulling off his voter turn out. Working with the Young Dems at my school we had a booth asking people to choose their candidate and take a picture with their signs, then we asked if they had registered, or wanted to registered to vote. The majority of people chose the Bernie signs and took a pic, but I was astounded at how many of them told me they were not registered to vote and didn’t “have time to register, so maybe I’ll do it later”.</p> <p>Furthermore, what the hell have you done to support Bernie besides sharing dumb memes and holding your vote hostage? Have you gone door to door spreading his platform? Have you organized or participated in voter registration drives? How about some phone banking? No really, have you? No? Ok then maybe you should look at yourself and wonder why not that many people went out to vote and why he keeps losing and probably will keep losing come Super Tuesday. </p> <p>Hillary isn’t great, she has a past, but she’s running on a progressive platform. Maybe not as progressive as Bernie, but she’s not stupid. If she get’s elected, she has to get stuff done because she has a re-election to win. </p> <p>Long story short, you have no one to blame but other Bernie supporters. I’m still hopeful he’s going to win the nomination, but careful optimism is key. So stop complaining, you have 5 days till super Tuesday.
