Here’s the problem: Nearly every question posed to Kavanaugh referred to the accuser/victim as “Dr. Ford”. It struck me that this may have been a deliberate and calculated way to allow him to emphatically deny, because at the time of the incident, she was not “Dr. Ford”. What do you think? I just received an email from him that had a letter from an anonymous special forces soldier, who, in recounting the deaths of two Navy SEALS who were killed on a mission, has some dead-ender language to describe not terrorists, but us. I'm leaning strong towards Edwards and the results surprised me a bit, but because of the lack of nuance in the up/down, black/white, for/against nature of the questions and choices for answers, I'm not surprised. The third was a new idea - attach it to a different kind of barrier and on a non-interstate artery.  This one went over Rt. 50 (Arlington Boulevard) at 7 Corners in Falls Church. All three were standing at noon today, so all morning commuters traveling in those locations saw them, presumably.  By 1pm, the Rt. 50 one had been violently ripped down.  That's the nature of freeway blogging - ephemeral. Imagine wading through that stuff! Petroleum, toluene, household solvents, etc... It was shot at Camp Casey 1, right in front of the "Arlington West" memorial.  They step up to the mic, struggle to get out the name of their lost loved ones, some making fairly strong anti-war statements. Up comes a diminutive and portly fellow(ess) with a not-too-deep voice, dark complexion and long black hair. (s)He almost immediately starts crying as (s)he says: <AAAAH! Then, Gibson ramps up his attack on Sheehan and follows the playbook laid down by Drudge, Malkin and   Anal Vibrator Boy - that Cindy has been "consumed" by those far left types, like MoveOn, Michael Moore, Code Pink and those "gray-bearded long haired men who've been wearing those same T-shirts with doves on them for the last 40 years - always antiwar".  He made sweeping generalizations based on where Sheehan is from (between San Francisco and Sacramento) "near Berkeley!" - basically calling everyone in that region radical leftie peaceniks. Over the years, I've noticed that many a conservative politician and pundit seem to have a deficient upper lip.  Some could say this is a sign of a "stiff upper lip" and "resolve".  I think it's a sign of being uptight - literally, their conservative outlook is reflected in their lip. By the same token, liberals have fuller, more generous lips.  (A college professor I had actually said that research supports this!)
