<title>Obama Raised $60 million in February?!?</title>
<link>https://www.dailykos.com/story/2008/2/28/465845/-Obama-Raised-60-million-in-February</link>
<description>&#x3C;p&#x3E;Andrew Sullivan is hearing rumors that Obama will rasie &#x3C;strong&#x3E;&#x3C;a href=&#x22;http://andrewsullivan.theatlantic.com/the_daily_dish/2008/02/obamas-record-f.html&#x22;&#x3E;upwards of $60 million in February fundraising.&#x3C;/a&#x3E;&#x3C;/strong&#x3E; &#x26;nbsp;Even in this economy, that&#x27;s some serious scratch. &#x26;nbsp;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;Not that I find this amount of money completely objectionable, but it seems to me that this might put a damper on future noble causes such as real public financing of Congressional elections. &#x26;nbsp;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

<title>Iowa Governor Chet Culver Endorses Obama</title>
<link>https://www.dailykos.com/story/2008/2/7/452174/-Iowa-Governor-Chet-Culver-Endorses-Obama</link>
<description>&#x3C;p&#x3E;&#x3C;strong&#x3E;&#x3C;a href=&#x22;http://www.desmoinesregister.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20080207/NEWS/80207032&#x22;&#x3E;Another superdelegate goes to Obama&#x3C;/a&#x3E;&#x3C;/strong&#x3E;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;blockquote&#x3E;
&#x3C;p&#x3E;&#x22;I&#x27;m doing so because I believe it&#x27;s clear that the American people are hungry for change,&#x22; Culver said in an interview with The Des Moines Register. &#x22;I believe they&#x27;re looking for a president to push back on the special interests and I think it&#x27;s also time for a fresh new approach to governing in Washington, D.C. and believe senator Obama represents this new approach.&#x22;
&#x3C;/p&#x3E;
&#x3C;/blockquote&#x3E;
&#x3C;p&#x3E;...a little late, dude.&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

<title>Take Your Kids to VOTE!</title>
<link>https://www.dailykos.com/story/2008/2/5/450219/-Take-Your-Kids-to-VOTE</link>
<description>&#x3C;p&#x3E;I half remember the election of 1984.&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;My family was living in San Antonio at the time. &#x26;nbsp;My dad held me up after he voted for Mondale and had me pull the lever on one of those old school voting machines. &#x26;nbsp;It must have been 7am, but I remember walking with him from the voting booth to my classroom down the hall. &#x26;nbsp;I had my handmade &#x22;Vote for Mondale&#x22; sign in tow.&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;&#x3C;img width=&#x22;200&#x22; src=&#x22;http://i188.photobucket.com/albums/z104/pkjames11111/boysobama2.jpg&#x22; /&#x3E;&#x3C;p&#x3E;&#x3C;p&#x3E; &#x3C;em&#x3E;(my boys Eli, left, and Truman)&#x3C;/em&#x3E;

<title>Why The Caucus Is Awesome... Anecdotal Evidence </title>
<link>https://www.dailykos.com/story/2008/1/8/432780/-Why-The-Caucus-Is-Awesome-Anecdotal-Evidence</link>
<description>&#x3C;p&#x3E;This is from an email sent by my friend Ed Fallon, who happens to be running for Congress in the 3rd District of Iowa, challenging Rep. Leonard Boswell in the primary. &#x26;nbsp;Ed&#x27;s a former state representative and gubernatorial candidate. He describes an event at his precinct caucus where support was decided with a game of rock, paper, scissors.&#x3C;/p&#x3E;
