Americans "petering"... Any citizen who has had to deal with a large corporation has learned first-hand of the frustration endured when dealing with incompetent customer service representatives, salespeople, bankers...you name it. But what about cell-addicts who talk while driving...isn't that just another form of incompetence?  And have you participated in any threads lately?  Where it seems at least 50% of the comments boil down to: "You're stupid...yuck, yuck, yuck!"  And amazingly these (frankly) incompetent responses are (apparently) the best the commentators have to offer. I'm not going to belabor the point because everyone has their own set of pet peeve examples.  But for those who live with their eyes wide open, it's as plain as the nose on your face that America...as a country...has risen to its level of incompetence!
