<title>Is the voting over?</title>
<link>https://www.dailykos.com/story/2008/11/6/655784/-Is-the-voting-over</link>
<description>&#x3C;p&#x3E;One would assume that two days after the voting has ended that opening the old outlook inbox would be a politics free event. &#x26;nbsp;Let me rephrase that, maybe not politics free, but at least the &#x22;McCain is our guy&#x22; stuff would be over now, right?&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;I assumed so, but over the last couple of days I am begining to wonder if the nutjobs are still trying to somehow pull out a win. &#x26;nbsp;I open my email and find anti Obama rhetoric from the same people that have been sending it to me since the primaries. &#x26;nbsp;I visit myspace to find bulletins of &#x22;we pray for you Obama supporters&#x22; from people on my so called friends list claiming we are &#x22;delusional.&#x22; &#x26;nbsp;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;Isn&#x27;t it time to get over the bullshit? &#x26;nbsp;The character attacks, questioning of whether something will work or not work, it&#x27;s over. &#x26;nbsp;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

<title>Set the Clock.</title>
<link>https://www.dailykos.com/story/2008/11/4/652818/-Set-the-Clock</link>
<description>&#x3C;p&#x3E;I worked an overnight last night and drove at 5:30am to the VFW here in Ballwin, MO to cast my vote for President. &#x26;nbsp;It is pretty obvious where my support lies, but it truly does not matter for the purposes of this diary. &#x26;nbsp;The simple fact is that no matter who wins this election, the country is going to change. &#x26;nbsp;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;As I watch the election coverage today, battling a case of insomnia, I am seeing things I&#x26;rsquo;ve never seen before. &#x26;nbsp;A black panther standing guard outside a polling station in Pennsylvania, supposedly intimidating voters. &#x26;nbsp;Reports of advertisements in Virginia announcing that due to increased turn out they are asking Democrats to vote on Wednesday.&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E; &#x26;nbsp;McCain is speaking as I type, making his last bid to get those last few votes. &#x26;nbsp;One thing that struck me during McCain&#x26;rsquo;s speech was his claim that he owes this country more than he could ever repay. &#x26;nbsp;That claim bothers me....&#x3C;/p&#x3E;
