(Gotta stop this wondering mind). The bomb was specifically designed and constructed to do great bodily harm (probable death)and placed next to a brick wall. Anyone who has any background in arms, the military, or simply watches television knows that such placement ensures maximum explosive force in the opposite direction from the wall. (INTO THE STREET). He stated that he was assured that he would not to be asked about other candidates for the congressional races. O'Donnell disavowed the promised agreement and moved on.  But, my diary is not about media gamesmanship or lack their of. The diary is about a scientific observation from a pioneer in Earthly gravity and the common apple. Gravity?  The apple does not fall far from the tree? Oh Yes!  Lawrence O'Donnell took another step towards revealing the heart and soul of the Paul Family. I sometimes foray into the unbalanced manner in which America's elite literally manage those who are less fortunate.  The topic is so much a frustration to me as a progressive that I feel the need to delve a little deeper. The GOP, political conservatives, and far right libertarians has come a long way since its 1976 national opposition to the ERA, Equal Rights Amendment. Palin became the campaign 'lead' during the late stages of the 2008 campaign. While the politically desperate strategy to place Palin on the ticket failed by not attracting large numbers of  disgruntled Hillary supporters, the fact that she was on the ticket could have injected new life into the GOP. Palin continues to fail in her political quest based on her obvious deep-rooted biases and equally biased or incompetent advisors. There is much to be said about 'playing' to one's base. The strategy is common to all political campaigns and political initiatives but the strategy can lead to bad political decisions that exposes  the candidate to undesired scrutiny (from the opposition). The strategy to play to the base is a good one if the candidate is merely seeking financial donations. Palin opens the speech with snarky remarks about people who rummaged through a dumpster for information related to planning for the upcoming visit. Olbermann briefly addresses his thoughts that the speech was laced with inaccurate platitudes.
