<title>Developing: New MI and FL Delegate Plan Under Discussion (No mail-in)</title>
<link>https://www.dailykos.com/story/2008/3/13/476005/-Developing-New-MI-and-FL-Delegate-Plan-Under-Discussion-No-mail-in</link>
<description>&#x3C;p&#x3E;After finding out that a re-vote in &#x3C;a href=&#x22;http://www.miamiherald.com/news/breaking_news/story/455346.html&#x22;&#x3E;Florida by mail-in is illegal&#x3C;/a&#x3E;. &#x26;nbsp;&#x3C;a href=&#x22;http://thepage.time.com/details-of-a-possible-delegate-plan-under-discussion/&#x22;&#x3E;A new plan for the seating&#x3C;/a&#x3E; of Michigan&#x27;s and Florida&#x27;s delegates is being discussed.&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;&#x3C;strong&#x3E;Michigan&#x3C;/strong&#x3E;: Split the 156 delegates 50/50 between Obama and Clinton&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;&#x3C;strong&#x3E;
&#x3C;br /&#x3E;Update: Correction on Florida thanks loree920&#x3C;/strong&#x3E;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;&#x3C;strong&#x3E;Florida&#x3C;/strong&#x3E;: Seat all the delegates Florida would normally have but give them 1/2 a vote, resulting in a 19 net delegates for Clinton.&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;Superdelegates would be free to vote for whomever&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;More..&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

<title>Cheney Staff Engage in Insubordination Against Bush (w/ Poll)</title>
<link>https://www.dailykos.com/story/2007/5/24/338342/-Cheney-Staff-Engage-in-Insubordination-Against-Bush-w-Poll</link>
<description>&#x3C;p&#x3E;Posted today by Steve Clemons over at &#x3C;a href=&#x22;http://www.thewashingtonnote.com&#x22;&#x3E;The Washington Note&#x3C;/a&#x3E;. &#x26;nbsp;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;blockquote&#x3E;
&#x3C;p&#x3E;There is a race currently underway between different flanks of the administration to determine the future course of US-Iran policy.&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;On one flank are the diplomats, and on the other is Vice President Cheney&#x27;s team and acolytes -- who populate quite a wide swath throughout the American national security bureaucracy
&#x3C;/p&#x3E;
&#x3C;/blockquote&#x3E;
&#x3C;p&#x3E;Clemons reports that Cheney&#x27;s staff are intentionally trying to subvert the will of President Bush in regards to his diplomacy effort with Iran.&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;Bush favors Sec. of State Rice&#x27;s plan for increased diplomacy with Iran a la N. Korea in regards to uranium enrichment.&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;Cheney and his evil minions would rather use Israel to create a Middle East conflict that would last years if not decades.&#x3C;/p&#x3E;
