<title>Executive experience? You mean like W?</title>
<link>https://www.dailykos.com/story/2008/9/6/589053/-Executive-experience-You-mean-like-W</link>
<description>&#x3C;p&#x3E;So here I am. I resisted the Obama hype as long as I could. He started to win me over when he chose Joe Biden (my first choice so many months ago). But after watching Palin&#x27;s speech, I&#x27;m totally on board with him now, and as the Swift Boating has begun, I&#x27;m Hoping that the campaign has a coherent strategy to fight back.&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;I became really concerned when a day or two after Palin was announced, Obama attempted to say he had executive experience because he managed this campaign, which had a larger budget than that of Wasilla. My response was &#x22;WHAT? Is that the best you can do?&#x22; And my head starting to spin with thoughts of John Kerry and my eyes teared up at the horror of blowing this election again.&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;The campaign has an incredibly powerful response to this attack on Obama&#x27;s executive experience, and they don&#x27;t even have to change strategy. It bothers me that they just seem to have decided to ignore the Palin comparisons when the answer is so obvious.&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

<title>My problem with Obama</title>
<link>https://www.dailykos.com/story/2008/2/16/458009/-My-problem-with-Obama</link>
<description>&#x3C;p&#x3E;This morning it finally hit me why I have a problem with Obama if he wins the nomination. I haven&#x27;t been able to really put it into words until now.&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;I started out with John Edwards, and still have his sticker on my car to protest his departure from the race, because I honestly believe he was the best candidate in the race. For years I&#x27;ve been saying that I would never vote for Hillary and couldn&#x27;t stand to listen to her grating voice for four years if she became president. I said there is no way she could be the Republicans.&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;I&#x27;ve admired Obama since his convention speech in 2004, where I said he would run someday (but didn&#x27;t think it would be this soon). After Edwards left the race, and on the heels of the Clinton race-baiting and Edwards-bashing robo-calls in SC, I was leaning toward Obama. I still wasn&#x27;t sold on what he actually hoped to accomplish, but I was not voting for Hillary.&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

<title>The fundraising war disgusts me</title>
<link>https://www.dailykos.com/story/2008/2/7/452070/-The-fundraising-war-disgusts-me</link>
<description>&#x3C;p&#x3E;It blows my mind that Clinton and Obama have each burned through $100 million and we still don&#x27;t have a nominee. I check here every day and there are appeals for Obama (and today Clinton) supporters to donate more money. When do we say &#x22;enough is enough&#x22;?&#x3C;/p&#x3E;
