<description>&#x3C;p&#x3E;Two days ago Politico reported: &#xA0;&#x22;&#xA0;&#x3C;span&#x3E;Lawrence Wilkerson, who served as chief of staff to Secretary of State Colin Powell &#x2014; and who harshly criticized Bush&#x2019;s 2003 invasion of Iraq &#x2014; said that he has given Sanders his advice.&#x22;&#x3C;/span&#x3E;&#x3C;br&#x3E;

Asked why Israel would do such a thing, Wilkerson said: &#x201C;I think we&#x2019;ve got a basically geostrategically, geopolitical inept regime in Tel Aviv right now.&#x201D;&#x3C;/strong&#x3E;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

<title>With 4 days to go, Clinton leads Sanders by 17% in Virginia (Roanoke)</title>
<link>https://www.dailykos.com/story/2016/2/26/1491749/-With-4-days-to-go-Clinton-leads-Sanders-by-17-in-Virginia-Roanoeke</link>
<description>&#x3C;p&#x3E;I really want to convey good news to Bernie Sanders&#x2019; supporters, but I just can&#x2019;t find any. Virginia is one of the Super Tuesday states. Her lead is 17% according to a new Roanoake College poll.&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;And this is not taking into account the momentum she is likely to gather once she defeats Bernie Sanders by a huge margin tomorrow in South Carolina.&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;I promise I will be more balanced by posting&#xA0;a diary about Sanders&#x2019; victory in Vermont once he wins there.&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;&#x3C;a href=&#x22;http://www.wdbj7.com/news/local/roanoke-college-poll-clinton-trump-hold-leads-in-virginia-primary-elections/38208938&#x22; target=&#x22;_blank&#x22;&#x3E;Link&#x3C;/a&#x3E;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

<title>Michigan poll: Clinton crushes Sanders by a 34% margin</title>
<link>https://www.dailykos.com/story/2016/2/26/1491726/-Michigan-poll-Clinton-crushes-Sanders-by-a-34-margin</link>
<description>&#x3C;p&#x3E;I better duck.&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;Because I am about to break the news that with 11 days to go until the Michigan Democratic primaries, Hillary Clinton leads Bernie Sanders by a 34% margin.&#xA0;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;blockquote&#x3E;
&#x3C;p&#x3E;&#x3C;span&#x3E;The most recent poll shows Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton continues to dominate Vermont U.S. Senator Bernie Sanders among likely Democratic Party Presidential Primary voters in Michigan. She holds a lead of 65 to 31 percent with 4 percent remaining undecided. Her lead is almost identical to the lead she had last week.&#x3C;/span&#x3E;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;
&#x3C;/blockquote&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;&#x3C;a href=&#x22;http://www.fox2detroit.com/news/elections-2016/97577116-story&#x22; target=&#x22;_blank&#x22;&#x3E;Link&#x3C;/a&#x3E;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;That&#x2019;s a link to Fox, which generates impressive approval, number of recommendations and excitement if the poll&#xA0;result is good for Bernie, &#x3C;a href=&#x22;http://www.dailykos.com/story/2016/2/18/1484676/-47-44-Bernie-Sanders-LEADS-Clinton-in-National-Poll-For-First-Time-Ever-Fox&#x22; target=&#x22;_blank&#x22;&#x3E;as seen here.&#x3C;/a&#x3E;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;The &#x201C;Don&#x2019;t post Fox stuff here&#x201D; argument therefore dies right here right now.&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

<title>Sanders is &#x22;the only true progressive&#x22; in Dem. race, Karl Rove&#x27;s SuperPAC says</title>
<link>https://www.dailykos.com/story/2016/2/26/1491689/-Sanders-is-the-only-true-progressive-in-Dem-race-Karl-Rove-s-SuperPAC-says</link>
<description>&#x3C;p&#x3E;NPR has a new story (&#x3C;a href=&#x22;http://www.npr.org/2016/02/26/468216156/conservative-superpacs-ads-take-aim-at-hillary-clinton?utm_campaign=storyshare&#x26;amp;utm_source=twitter.com&#x26;amp;utm_medium=social&#x22; target=&#x22;_blank&#x22;&#x3E;listen here&#x3C;/a&#x3E;) informing us that during the Nevada caucuses Karl Rove&#x2019;s American Crossroads Super PAC branded Bernie Sanders the &#x201C;only true progressive&#x201D; in the Democratic race.&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;David Greene of NPR sat down with Steven Law for an interview, in which Law stated that Sanders has the advantage of being &#x201C;authentic&#x201D; over Clinton, who is not.&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;Law did not say whether &#xA0;Sanders&#x2019; fake endorsement claims or his misleading single-payer estimates count as authentic or inauthentic.&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;Top conservatives have been actively attempting to boost Sanders against Clinton throuhgout the year. This includes &#x3C;a href=&#x22;http://freebeacon.com/politics/free-beacon-poll-clinton-and-sanders-tied-in-nevada/&#x22; target=&#x22;_blank&#x22;&#x3E;weird polls&#x3C;/a&#x3E;&#xA0;conducted and commissioned by conservatives, in which Sanders always performs well.&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;&#x3C;span&#x3E;The man had a prior burglary (Grand Theft) and battery arrests.&#x3C;/span&#x3E;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;&#x3C;span&#x3E;Let Cedric root in hell for the killing of innocent people.&#x3C;/span&#x3E;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;&#x3C;span&#x3E;The gun problem is to priority in the United States and candidates should adresses it. Too many Predators such as this one have easy access to guns and people who didn&#x27;t hurt anybody suggest the consequences.&#x3C;/span&#x3E;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

<title>The good news for Sanders: Massachusetts is very white and very liberal. Now the bad news</title>

&#x3C;/figure&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;Hillary Clinton leads Bernie Sanders 49-45% in a new Massachusetts poll.&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;It could be that white liberals are abandoning Sanders due to the bandwagon effect. That is, as Sanders looks increasingly like the loser of the primaries in the long run, voters tend to coalesce around the one leading in every state that matters.&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;Nobody likes a loser. Or perhaps voters have read more about how single layer is extremely expensive and won&#x27;t pass Congress anyway.&#xA0;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;Whatever the reason, this is great news for Clinton.&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

<title>Congressional Hispanic Caucus PAC to endorse Clinton</title>
<link>https://www.dailykos.com/story/2016/2/25/1491495/-Congressional-Hispanic-Caucus-PAC-to-endorse-Clinton</link>
<description>&#x3C;p&#x3E;Bernie supporters recently swore that Bernie Sanders Was making inroads among Hispanic voters, because a flawed CNN entrance poll said she won Hispanics in Nevada. Time has proved these people wrong.&#xA0;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;Experts have dismissed the entrance poll as garbage.&#xA0;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;Besides the polls, there are other signs, such as this one today:&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;blockquote&#x3E;
&#x3C;p&#x3E;Members &#xA0;&#x3C;span&#x3E;of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus are preparing to endorse Hillary Clinton for president in an effort to help her campaign secure critical Hispanic votes in next week&#x2019;s Super Tuesday primaries.&#x3C;/span&#x3E;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;
&#x3C;/blockquote&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;Deception is frequent among Bernie and his supporters. We all know about those fake endorsements. We all know about those dreamy single payer cost assessments.&#xA0;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;We all know about the tale about Hispanics preferring Sanders. &#xA0;&#xA0;&#x3C;a href=&#x22;https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/powerpost/wp/2016/02/25/congressional-hispanic-caucus-pac-to-endorse-clinton/&#x22; target=&#x22;_blank&#x22;&#x3E;www.washingtonpost.com/&#x2026;&#x3C;/a&#x3E;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

<title>VA-Monmouth: Clinton +27 (Feb. 22-24)</title>
<link>https://www.dailykos.com/story/2016/2/25/1491289/-VA-Monmouth-Clinton-27-Feb-22-24</link>
<description>&#x3C;p&#x3E;I was under the impression that Bernie Sanders had a modest chance to win Virginia, as polls there had not recently showed him too far ahead of Clinton.&#xA0;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;I have now changed my mind now that Hillary crushes him in the Old Dominion.&#xA0;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;It looks like Nevada gave Hillary momentum.&#xA0;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

<title>Clemson, SC poll: Clinton +50</title>
<link>https://www.dailykos.com/story/2016/2/25/1491257/-Clemson-SC-poll-Clinton-50</link>
<description>&#x3C;p&#x3E;In what I initially thought was a typo, Hillary Clinton leads Bernie Sanders by all the points in the world (50%) in a new poll by Clemson University:&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;&#x22;T&#x3C;span&#x3E;he survey of likely voters showed 64 percent said they will vote for Clinton and 14 percent for Bernie Sanders. Twenty-two percent said they are undecided. The margin of error is plus or minus 3 percent.&#x22;&#x3C;/span&#x3E;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;&#x3C;span&#x3E;Conducted last Saturday and Sunday.&#x3C;/span&#x3E;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

<link>https://www.dailykos.com/story/2016/2/25/1491147/-Sorry-to-pile-up-follow-Berniac-Texans</link>
<description>&#x3C;p&#x3E;You have been bombarded with many polls from Texas &#xA0;in the past 24 hours, so I apologize for giving you a new one: Clinton leads Sanders by 34% according to a new TX Monmouth poll. &#xA0;&#xA0;&#x3C;a href=&#x22;http://www.monmouth.edu/assets/0/32212254770/32212254991/32212254992/32212254994/32212254995/30064771087/fd1752af-cc7a-4b4c-9125-1d26f351cc4a.pdf&#x22; target=&#x22;_blank&#x22;&#x3E;www.monmouth.edu/&#x2026;&#x3C;/a&#x3E;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;After reviewing the archives &#xA0;I concluded that no one has reported this poll until now.&#xA0;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

<title>AP poll: People reject Single Payer when told about the details</title>
<link>https://www.dailykos.com/story/2016/2/25/1491021/-AP-poll-People-reject-Single-Payer-when-told-about-the-details</link>
<description>&#x3C;p&#x3E;AP conducted a poll in which a plurality, 39%,supports Single Payer.&#xA0;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;But a whopping 70% of those supporters changed their mind when told about paying higher taxes for it and having to abandon employer insurance.&#xA0;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;blockquote&#x3E;
&#x3C;p&#x3E;&#x22;&#xA0;&#x3C;span&#x3E;But asked whether they would continue to support Sanders&#x27; plan if their own taxes went up, &#x3C;em&#x3E;about 3 in 10 of the initial supporters would keep backing it&#x3C;/em&#x3E;. Four out of 10 flip to opposition.&#x22;&#x3C;/span&#x3E;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;
&#x3C;/blockquote&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;&#x3C;a href=&#x22;http://m.gazette.com/ap-gfk-poll-support-shaky-for-sanders-medicare-for-all/article/feed/320169&#x22; target=&#x22;_blank&#x22;&#x3E;Link&#x3C;/a&#x3E;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;Ironically, this is a case in which the more they know Bernie, the &#x3C;strong&#x3E;less&#x3C;/strong&#x3E; people like his proposals. Bernie Sanders supporters often make the opposite argument.&#xA0;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

<title>Confirmed. Reuters/Ipsos was an outlier. New national poll: Clinton 57, Sanders 36%</title>

<description>&#x3C;p&#x3E;Bernie Sanders supporters were &#x3C;a href=&#x22;http://www.inquisitr.com/2823009/sanders-leads-clinton-by-six-percent-nationally-in-new-poll/&#x22; target=&#x22;_blank&#x22;&#x3E;very excited&#x3C;/a&#x3E;&#xA0;to hear that an outlier Reuuters/Ipsos poll has Bernie Sanders ahead of Clinton by 6%.&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;I found the result weird, because, well, everyone except for Sanders supporters found I weird, and because Nate Silver does not like Reuters/Ipsos. &#xA0;&#x3C;a href=&#x22;http://fivethirtyeight.blogs.nytimes.com/2012/01/15/before-citing-a-poll-read-the-fine-print/?_r=0&#x22; target=&#x22;_blank&#x22;&#x3E;See this&#x3C;/a&#x3E;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;A new Robert Williams University poll has found that Clinton leads Sanders by 21%,and that was before Nevada. FEB. &#xA0;11-16.&#xA0;&#x3C;a href=&#x22;http://big.assets.huffingtonpost.com/RMU20154Report.pdf&#x22; target=&#x22;_blank&#x22;&#x3E;Link&#x3C;/a&#x3E;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;&#xA0;&#xA0;&#x3C;a href=&#x22;http://www.inquisitr.com/2823009/sanders-leads-clinton-by-six-percent-nationally-in-new-poll/&#x22; target=&#x22;_blank&#x22;&#x3E;www.inquisitr.com/...&#x3C;/a&#x3E;&#x3C;a href=&#x22;http://www.inquisitr.com/2823009/sanders-leads-clinton-by-six-percent-nationally-in-new-poll/&#x22; target=&#x22;_blank&#x22;&#x3E;very excited &#x3C;/a&#x3E;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;So there you have it. If one poll should be given preference over the average of all polls, then Clinton is kicking Sanders&#x27; butt nationally.&#xA0;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

<title>New Jersey not #feelingthebern (Rutgers poll)</title>
<link>https://www.dailykos.com/story/2016/2/24/1490177/-New-Jersey-not-feelingthebern-Rutgers-poll</link>
<description>&#x3C;p&#x3E;In the Garden State, Hillary Clinton crushes Bernie Sanders by a 23% margin, according to a new Rutgers University poll (landlines and cell phones). &#x3C;a href=&#x22;http://politickernj.com/2016/02/new-poll-clinton-at-55-sanders-at-32-with-nj-democrats/&#x22; target=&#x22;_blank&#x22;&#x3E;Link&#x3C;/a&#x3E;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;Hispanics in the state are the largest minority at 18%. African Americans are 9%. Thus, in a state with less minority inhabitants than Nevada, Clinton still manages to kick butt.&#xA0;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;The most impressive fact in this poll us in my view, that &#xA0;Clinton holds this big lead despite the date it was conducted: February 6-14, right after the New Hampshire primaries won handily by Sanders.&#xA0;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;Thus, this comfortable lead does not even take into account any momentum Hillary may have received from winning Nevada.&#xA0;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;Bernie Sanders is in big trouble.&#xA0;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

<title>In new Texas poll, Hispanics prefer Clinton over Sanders 60%-37%</title>
<link>https://www.dailykos.com/story/2016/2/23/1489689/-In-new-Texas-poll-Hispanics-prefer-Clinton-over-Sanders-60-37</link>
<description>&#x3C;p&#x3E;Sanders supporters were very excited following a widely criticized CNN entrance poll showing Sanders ahead of Clinton among Latinos in Nevada. Several &#xA0;experts criticized the poll.&#xA0;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;Now a new YouGov in Texas finds Latinos favoring Clinton over Sanders by 60% vs. 37%.&#xA0;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;Although Texas is not Nevada, it is doubtful that Nevada Latinos are somehow a different breed of genetically or behaviorally unique Hispanics who happen to prefer Sanders. &#xA0;&#xA0;&#x3C;a href=&#x22;http://www.texastribune.org/2016/02/23/uttt-poll-clinton-still-leads-texas-margin-has-nar/&#x22; target=&#x22;_blank&#x22;&#x3E;www.texastribune.org/&#x2026;&#x3C;/a&#x3E;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;Latinos are key to Clinton&#x27;s 10% overall lead in this YouGov poll. So are African Americans.&#xA0;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;The poll was conducted Feb. 12-19, before the Nevada caucuses.&#xA0;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

<title>Michigan poll by ARG: Clinton 53%, Sanders 40% (Bad news for Bernie)</title>
<link>https://www.dailykos.com/story/2016/2/22/1489174/-Michigan-poll-by-ARG-Clinton-53-Sanders-40-Bad-news-for-Bernie</link>
<description>&#x3C;p&#x3E;Bad news for Bernie Sanders in Michigan for four reasons,&#xA0;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;1) Michigan has a proportion of white peoole/total population that is even higher than Nevada&#x27;s, &#xA0;yet Sanders is struggling anyway. &#xA0;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;2) This poll was conducted largely before the Nevada caucus results were definitive ( Feb. 19-20).&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;3) The Michigan primaries are just 15 days away.&#xA0;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;4) By the time Michigan is up, &#xA0;Clinton will have swept the floor with Sanders on Super Tuesday.&#xA0;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;Thus, any momentum created by Nevada and Super Tuesday in favor of Clinton is not even reflected in this poll, yet she leads by a comfortable margin.&#xA0;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;&#xA0;&#xA0;&#x3C;a href=&#x22;http://americanresearchgroup.com/pres2016/primary/dem/midem.html&#x22; target=&#x22;_blank&#x22;&#x3E;Link to poll&#x3C;/a&#x3E;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

<title>New York Times: Evidence suggests Clinton Won the Hispanic vote in Nevada</title>
<link>https://www.dailykos.com/story/2016/2/21/1488793/-New-York-Times-Evidence-suggests-Clinton-Won-the-Hispanic-vote-in-Nevada</link>
<description>&#x3C;p&#x3E;The New York Times&#x27; politics blog led by Nate Cohn casts doubt on an entrance poll showing Sanders ahead of Clinton in the Latino vote in Nevada, and concludes Clinton Won that group.&#xA0;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;Clinton supporters should never concede the point to Sanders won Hispanics in NV, because the doubt by experts is very high regarding the entrance poll in question. Sanders supporters are encouraged to cite the doubts expressed by experts regarding their assertion that Sanders won the Hispanic vote in Nevada. Thanks.&#xA0;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

<title>Flashback: Washington Free Beacon poll: Clinton and Sanders tied in NV!</title>
<link>https://www.dailykos.com/story/2016/2/21/1488612/-Flashback-Washington-Free-Beacon-poll-Clinton-and-Sanders-tied-in-NV</link>
<description>&#x3C;p&#x3E;As you may have noticed, Bernie Sanders supporters love right wing newspapers and right wing sources.&#xA0;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;One such example was the&#xA0;&#x3C;a href=&#x22;http://www.dailykos.com/story/2016/2/12/1484021/-Nevada-Poll-45-45-Tie-The-Bernie-Bounce-Is-Here&#x22; target=&#x22;_blank&#x22;&#x3E;excitement generated here&#x3C;/a&#x3E;&#xA0;by a polling firm (Target Point) whose CEO (Alexander P. Gage) &#xA0;is a Bush/Cheney loving Reaganite Conservative right wing nut:&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;blockquote&#x3E;
&#x3C;p&#x3E;&#x22; According to his TPC&#xA0;&#x3C;a href=&#x22;http://targetpointconsulting.com/Principals/default.aspx&#x22;&#x3E;profile&#x3C;/a&#x3E;, Gage founded TargetPoint Consulting, Inc. in 2003 and created&#xA0;&#x3C;a href=&#x22;http://www.sourcewatch.org/index.php/Political_microtargeting&#x22;&#x3E;political microtargeting&#x3C;/a&#x3E;, &#x22;which ushered in a new era in consumer/voter targeting. TPC provided advanced voter targeting for&#xA0;&#x3C;a href=&#x22;http://www.sourcewatch.org/index.php/Bush-Cheney_%2704_Inc.&#x22;&#x3E;Bush-Cheney &#x27;04&#x3C;/a&#x3E;, which fueled superior direct voter contact programs in 18 swing states. Today, TPC is the leading provider of microtargeting to political and corporate clients.&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;&#x22;Gage began his professional career in 1974 as an analyst at&#xA0;&#x3C;span&#x3E;Market Opinion Research&#x3C;/span&#x3E;&#xA0;(MOR) in the political research group. MOR provided research service to hundreds of republican candidates, officeholders and party organizations from 1972 to 1988. MOR was the lead research firm for President&#xA0;&#x3C;a href=&#x22;http://www.sourcewatch.org/index.php/Gerald_Ford&#x22;&#x3E;Gerald Ford&#x3C;/a&#x3E;&#xA0;(&#x27;76) and Vice President&#xA0;&#x3C;a href=&#x22;http://www.sourcewatch.org/index.php/George_H.W._Bush&#x22;&#x3E;George H.W. Bush&#x3C;/a&#x3E;(&#x27;88) and one of the primary research providers to President&#xA0;&#x3C;a href=&#x22;http://www.sourcewatch.org/index.php/Ronald_Reagan&#x22;&#x3E;Ronald Reagan&#x3C;/a&#x3E;&#xA0;(&#x27;80 and &#x27;84).&#x3C;/p&#x3E;
&#x3C;/blockquote&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;The highly recommended diary on this poll made no mention of the Republicanism of either the pollster or the kooky right wing nut newspaper that commissioned the survey (Washington Free Beacon). I saved it as pdf, so don&#x27;t try to edit it after the fact.&#xA0;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;They simply expect that readers will think these are unbiased, reputable entities.&#xA0;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;Republicans are rooting for Bernie Sanders as reported in the news. Therefore any poll conducted by a Republican must be taken with a huge grain of salt, as Bernie supporters hopefully learned the hard way now that Clinton Won Nevada by 6%.&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;If you are quoting a wing nut, call him a wing nut.&#xA0;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

<title>H. A. Goodman nailed the results!</title>
<link>https://www.dailykos.com/story/2016/2/20/1488393/-H-A-Goodman-nailed-the-results</link>
<description>&#x3C;p&#x3E;I hear a lot of people,especially Clinton supporters, make fun of and belittle the Huffington Post analyst on the grounds that he knows not what he talks about.&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;But Goodman nailed the results when,a month ago,he wrote an article titled &#x22;&#xA0;Bernie Sanders Will Win Iowa, &#x3C;strong&#x3E;New Hampshire&#x3C;/strong&#x3E;, Nevada and South Carolina. Here&#x27;s Why.&#x22;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;Please focus on the bold state.&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;&#xA0;&#xA0;&#x3C;a href=&#x22;http://www.huffingtonpost.com/h-a-goodman/bernie-sanders-will-win-iowa-new-hampshire-nevada-and-south-carolina_b_9006862.html&#x22; target=&#x22;_blank&#x22;&#x3E;www.huffingtonpost.com/...&#x3C;/a&#x3E;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;Sanders DID win New Hampshire.&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;It is time we learned to recognize Goodman for what he is: a top-notch analyst.&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

<title>Bernie supporters tout national poll made by a Republican (John McLaughlin)</title>
<link>https://www.dailykos.com/story/2016/2/20/1488293/-Bernie-supporters-tout-poll-made-by-Republican</link>
<description>&#x3C;p&#x3E;The trend continues: Bernie excels in polls conducted by Republicans. Today we were informed that a pollster (no mention in the diary of the fact that it is a Republican firm) found Bernie Sanders tied &#xA0;with Hillary Clinton nationally.&#xA0;&#x3C;a href=&#x22;http://linkis.com/m.dailykos.com/stori/U1lg4&#x22; target=&#x22;_blank&#x22;&#x3E;linkis.com/&#x2026;&#x3C;/a&#x3E;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;Mentioning this fact would have destroyed the diary in its inception. Now here is who this pollster is:&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;blockquote&#x3E;
&#x3C;p&#x3E;&#x3C;span&#x3E;His political clients have included former Presidential candidates Steve Forbes and Fred Thompson, former California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger, former Florida Governor Jeb Bush, Georgia Governor Nathan Deal and 22 current and former U.S. Senators and 20 current Republican members of Congress.&#xA0;&#x3C;/span&#x3E;&#x3C;br&#x3E;
&#x3C;br&#x3E;
&#x3C;span&#x3E;Internationally, John has done work in Israel for Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu, The Conservative Party in the United Kingdom and for Prime Minister Stephen Harper of Canada.&#x3C;/span&#x3E;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;
&#x3C;/blockquote&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;&#x3C;a href=&#x22;http://mclaughlinonline.com/about-mclaughlin-associates/&#x22; target=&#x22;_blank&#x22;&#x3E;mclaughlinonline.com/&#x2026;&#x3C;/a&#x3E;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;Bernie Sanders&#x27; supporters have resorted to posting right-wing sources this year at a rate that I had never seen in my life coming from &#x22;progressives&#x22;. Whether it is the New York Post, Republican pollsters, Morning Joe, etc., the strange alliance between &#x22;socialists&#x22; and right-wing nuts is real and mutual.&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;Stop it or continue to be exposed as a right-wing misinformation enablers.&#xA0;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

<title>Clinton&#x27;s national lead increases a bit in new YouGov poll</title>
<link>https://www.dailykos.com/story/2016/2/18/1487031/-Clinton-s-national-lead-increases-a-bit-in-New-YouGov-poll</link>
<description>&#x3C;p&#x3E;In a new poll that the media will largely dismiss because it does not fit it&#x27;s favorite narrative, Hillary Clinton leads Sanders 53-39% nationwide, up. from a 12% lead in late January. &#xA0;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;&#x3C;a href=&#x22;https://today.yougov.com/news/2016/02/17/nh-win-boosts-sanders-image-clinton-still-holds-la/&#x22; target=&#x22;_blank&#x22;&#x3E;today.yougov.com/&#x2026;&#x3C;/a&#x3E;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;Pundits prefer to repeat and tweet an retweet polls in which their favorite candidate (Bernie Sanders) shows momentum.&#xA0;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;But I warn you that the MSM might still say &#x22;fuck it&#x22; and pretend this one is good for Bernie anyway.&#xA0;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

<title>Former Obama/Clinton economists: Sanders&#x27; claims not supported by evidence</title>
<link>https://www.dailykos.com/story/2016/2/17/1486606/-Former-Obama-Clinton-economists-Sanders-claims-not-supported-by-evidence</link>
<description>&#x3C;p&#x3E;Several economists, some of whom worked in the Obama White House and some who worked for Bill Clinton, just posted an argument against the validity of Bernie Sanders&#x27; claims regarding the nature of his single payer and tax proposals.&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;&#xA0;&#xA0;&#x3C;a href=&#x22;https://lettertosanders.wordpress.com/2016/02/17/open-letter-to-senator-sanders-and-professor-gerald-friedman-from-past-cea-chairs/&#x22; target=&#x22;_blank&#x22;&#x3E;lettertosanders.wordpress.com/...&#x3C;/a&#x3E;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;The letter is not likely to help Sanders as the Nevada and South Carolina contests approach.&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;Sanders has been criticized for promising things he can&#x27;t deliver and exaggerating the savings and benefits in his plans.&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

<title>Chris Hayes takes Bill Clinton out of context</title>
<link>https://www.dailykos.com/story/2016/2/16/1485903/-Chris-Hayes-takes-Bill-Clinton-out-of-context</link>
<description>&#x3C;p&#x3E;Barack Obama is a change maker who does not have Congress on his side.&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;Barack Obama is &#x3C;strong&#x3E;not a change maker who has Congress on his side.&#x3C;/strong&#x3E;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;It&#x27;s simple, and it is what Bill Clinton said in a recent speech in which he paused President Obama.&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;blockquote&#x3E;
&#x3C;p&#x3E;&#x3C;span&#x3E;BILL CLINTON (2/11/16): She&#x2019;s always making something good happen. She&#x2019;s the best change maker I&#x2019;ve ever known.&#xA0;&#x3C;/span&#x3E;&#x3C;br&#x3E;
&#x3C;br&#x3E;
&#x3C;span&#x3E;A lot of people say, &#x22;Oh well, you don&#x2019;t understand. It&#x2019;s different now. It&#x2019;s rigged.&#x22; Yeah, it&#x2019;s rigged&#x2014;because&#xA0;&#x3C;/span&#x3E;&#x3C;strong&#x3E;you don&#x2019;t have a president who is a change maker who, with a Congress who will work with him. But the president has done a better job than he has gotten credit for. And don&#x2019;t you forget it!&#x3C;/strong&#x3E;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;
&#x3C;/blockquote&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;Hayes chopped up Bill&#x27;s quote by only including &#x22;&#xA0;&#x3C;strong&#x3E;you don&#x2019;t have a president who is a change maker.&#x22;.&#x3C;/strong&#x3E;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;Media critic Bob Somerby slams Hayes in this piece:&#xA0;&#x3C;a href=&#x22;http://dailyhowler.blogspot.fr/2016/02/campaign-watch-bill-clinton-was-saying.html&#x22; target=&#x22;_blank&#x22;&#x3E;dailyhowler.blogspot.fr/...&#x3C;/a&#x3E;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;By pretending that Bill slammed Obama, Bernie supporters seek to distract from the fact that Obama does not like Bernie. He wants Hillary to be the nominee.&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;Tommy Christopher similarly noted Hayes&#x27; horrible pseudojournalistm &#x3C;a href=&#x22;http://www.mediaite.com/tv/busted-msnbc-butchers-bill-clinton-mid-quote-to-make-him-slam-obama/&#x22; target=&#x22;_blank&#x22;&#x3E;here&#x3C;/a&#x3E;.&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

<title>New Hampshire GOP warns Democrats: support Bernie Sanders. He won</title>
<link>https://www.dailykos.com/story/2016/2/15/1485740/-New-Hampshire-GOP-warns-Democrats-to-support-Bernie-Sanders</link>
<description>&#x3C;p&#x3E;The New Hampshire GOP has a petition out warning Democratic delegates not to support Hillary Clinton because Bernie Sanders won and democracy should be respected.&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;blockquote&#x3E;
&#x3C;p&#x3E;&#x22;&#xA0;&#x3C;strong&#x3E;MANCHESTER, N.H. -&#x3C;/strong&#x3E;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;New Hampshire&#x27;s Republican Party on Monday launched an&#xA0;&#x3C;a href=&#x22;http://nh.gop/petition/&#x22; target=&#x22;_blank&#x22;&#x3E;online petition&#x3C;/a&#x3E;&#xA0;urging the state Democratic Party&#x27;s superdelegates to &#x201C;listen to their constituents&#x201D; and support New Hampshire primary winner Bernie Sanders at the party&#x2019;s national convention.&#x22;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;...&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;&#x3C;span&#x3E;&#x201C;How is this possible?&#x201D; the NHGOP petition says. &#x201C;Because Democrats have set up an undemocratic system that allows party elites called &#x2018;super delegates&#x2019; to single-handedly cancel out the votes of thousands of grassroots activists.&#x201D;&#x3C;/span&#x3E;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;
&#x3C;/blockquote&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;&#x3C;a href=&#x22;http://m.wcvb.com/politics/new-hampshire-republican-party-launches-online-petition-supporting-bernie-sanders/38001548&#x22; target=&#x22;_blank&#x22;&#x3E;m.wcvb.com/...&#x3C;/a&#x3E;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

<title>Obama doesn&#x27;t like Bernie Sanders, Ruth Marcus explains</title>
<link>https://www.dailykos.com/story/2016/2/15/1485583/-Obama-doesn-t-like-Bernie-Sanders-Ruth-Marcus-explains</link>
<description>&#x3C;p&#x3E;&#x3C;a href=&#x22;http://www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/the-obama-sanders-debate-opposing-views-on-the-poisonous-political-climate/2016/02/12/58fb0cb0-d1bd-11e5-88cd-753e80cd29ad_story.html&#x22; target=&#x22;_blank&#x22;&#x3E;Yesterday&#x3C;/a&#x3E;,&#xA0;Ruth Marcus of the Washington Post explained the divide between President Obama and Bernie Sanders.&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;The day after Bernie won the NH primaries, Obama said that voters...&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;blockquote&#x3E;
&#x3C;p&#x3E;&#xA0;&#x22;instinctively know that issues are more complicated than rehearsed sound bites.&#x22; They &#x22;&#x3C;strong&#x3E;understand the difference between realism and idealism&#x3C;/strong&#x3E;.&#x22; They possess &#x22;the maturity to know what can and cannot be compromised, and to admit the possibility that the other side just might have a point.&#x22;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;
&#x3C;/blockquote&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;Obama went on to downplay Sanders&#x27; dark, exaggerated view of the intersection between corruption and politics:&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;blockquote&#x3E;
&#x3C;p&#x3E;There&#x27;s also the notion sometimes that our politics are broken because politicians are significantly more corrupt or beholden to big money than they used to be,&#x22; he said. &#x22;Folks aren&#x27;t entirely wrong when they feel as if the system too often is rigged and does not address their interests.&#x22;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;Still, he noted, invoking America&#x27;s rich history of political pocket-lining, ward-bossing and vote-buying, &#x3C;strong&#x3E;&#x22;the truth is that the kind of corruption that is blatant, of the sort that we saw in the past, is much less likely in today&#x27;s politics.&#x22; &#x3C;/strong&#x3E;You wouldn&#x27;t know this from Sanders&#x27; thundering.&#x3C;/p&#x3E;
&#x3C;/blockquote&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;&#x3C;span&#x3E;Marcus called Obama&#x27;s speech an &#x22;&#xA0;&#x3C;/span&#x3E;&#x3C;span&#x3E;implicit disagreement with Bernie Sanders and an &#x22;unstated endorsement of Hillary Clinton&#x27;s more-plodding pragmatism.&#x22;&#x3C;/span&#x3E;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;&#x3C;span&#x3E;This is consistent with a former White House press secretary&#x27;s that Obama prefers Clinton. &#xA0;&#xA0;&#x3C;a href=&#x22;http://www.theblaze.com/stories/2016/02/10/jay-carney-obama-has-signaled-his-preference-for-the-democratic-nominee/&#x22; target=&#x22;_blank&#x22;&#x3E;Link&#x3C;/a&#x3E;&#x3C;/span&#x3E;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;Mind you, Marcus is no fan of Hillary.&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

<title>Is Karl Rove rooting for Bernie or Hillary ?</title>
<link>https://www.dailykos.com/story/2016/2/14/1485128/-Is-Karl-Rove-rooting-for-Bernie-or-Hillary</link>
<description>&#x3C;p&#x3E;I was trying to figure out who Karl Rove is rooting for in the Democratic primaries, but I was unable to reach a conclusion by looking at the latest articles in the website of his Super PAC, American Crossroads. Would you please disentangle the web for me?&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

<title>Another Republican pollster finds good news for Bernie (Trails Clinton by just 11% in IL)</title>
<link>https://www.dailykos.com/story/2016/2/12/1484331/-Another-Republican-pollster-finds-good-news-for-Bernie-Trails-Clinton-by-just-11</link>
<description>&#x3C;p&#x3E;Strangely, conservative newspapers are commissioning Democratic-primary polls conducted by firms owned by former Republican operatives. I recently wrote a diary in a Republican firm polling Nevada from the right wing Washington Free Beacon. Today the Daily Caller touts a poll by McKeon Associates, whose chief worked for Giuliani, Pirro and Pataki in New York. &#x3C;a href=&#x22;http://dailycaller.com/2016/02/12/poll-bernie-sanders-gaining-on-hillary-clinton-in-illinois/&#x22; target=&#x22;_blank&#x22;&#x3E;dailycaller.com/...&#x3C;/a&#x3E;&#x3C;br&#x3E;
&#x3C;a href=&#x22;http://www.mercuryllc.com/leadership/michael-mckeon/&#x22; target=&#x22;_blank&#x22;&#x3E;www.mercuryllc.com/...&#x3C;/a&#x3E;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;The RNC and Karl Rove&#x27;s Super PAC have similarly posted tweets and ads aimed at promoting Bernie Sanders&#x27; candidacy over Hillary&#x27;s.&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;http://www.bloomberg.com/politics/articles/2016-01-19/republican-operatives-are-trying-to-help-bernie-sanders&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;Beware of these polls. Republicans have a dog in our fight. And his name is Bernie Sanders.&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

<title>Largest newspaper in Texas endorses Hillary Clinton</title>
<link>https://www.dailykos.com/story/2016/2/12/1484272/-Largest-newspaper-in-Texas-endorsed-Hillary-Clinton</link>
<description>&#x3C;p&#x3E;The Dallas Morning News newspaper endorsed Obama in 2008.&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;Why they endorsed her now:&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;blockquote&#x3E;
&#x3C;p&#x3E;&#x22;A better choice not because he&#x2019;s too liberal to win in November, though he is. She&#x2019;s better because over her lifetime, Clinton has learned to temper her idealism without losing it. She&#x2019;s learned to advance her agenda even when it means letting others advance too. She&#x2019;s cultivated allies.&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;Such lessons came hard for her, as they usually do. As first lady, she led President Bill Clinton&#x2019;s push for universal health care. Imperious and uncompromising, she failed spectacularly.&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;But Clinton kept fighting. She salvaged health care for poor children before it was over. And when, in 2001, she was sworn in as New York&#x2019;s junior senator, she faced enormous hostility. Six years later, she left with a reputation for bipartisanship, hard work and effectiveness.&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;She fought hard, some say too hard, in 2008 to beat Barack Obama in the same Democratic primaries. After a bruising loss, she showed humility and joined his administration as secretary of state.&#x22;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;
&#x3C;/blockquote&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;&#x3C;a href=&#x22;http://www.dallasnews.com/opinion/editorials/20160212-editorial-we-recommend-hillary-clinton-for-democratic-presidential-nomination.ece&#x22; target=&#x22;_blank&#x22;&#x3E;www.dallasnews.com/...&#x3C;/a&#x3E;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

<title>Warning: New Nevada poll conducted by Republicans, commissioned by Republicans</title>
<link>https://www.dailykos.com/story/2016/2/12/1484107/-Warning-New-Nevada-poll-conducted-by-Republicans-commissioned-by-Republicans</link>
<description>&#x3C;p&#x3E;A new Nevada &#x3C;a href=&#x22;http://freebeacon.com/politics/free-beacon-poll-clinton-and-sanders-tied-in-nevada/&#x22; target=&#x22;_blank&#x22;&#x3E;poll&#x3C;/a&#x3E; finds Bernie Sanders and Hillary Clinton tied at 45%.&#xA0;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;However, it is worth noting that the pollster (TargetPoint) has Michael Meyers as President. Woh is Michael Meyers? See this.&#xA0;&#x3C;a href=&#x22;http://www.targetpointconsulting.com/pages/executive_team&#x22; target=&#x22;_blank&#x22;&#x3E;See this.&#x3C;/a&#x3E;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;blockquote&#x3E;
&#x3C;p&#x3E;&#x201C;As President of TargetPoint, Michael helps guide the company and maintains a broad range of political and corporate clients. &#x3C;strong&#x3E;Michael&#x2019;s past political clients include several presidential campaigns including, most recently, Mitt Romney; Senators Portman, Burr, and Toomey; Governors Corbett, Deal, and Christie&#x3C;/strong&#x3E;; key congressional campaigns including, most recently, Kristi Noem; and ballot campaigns such as the Clean Affordable Renewable Energy initiative in Michigan and Citizens Protecting Michigan&#x2019;s Constitution. While at TargetPoint, Michael has also worked with a number of corporate and association clients including Wal-Mart, AT&#x26;amp;T, Magnolia Pictures / 2929 Entertainment and a number of energy related clients such as DTE / Detroit Edison and the American Petroleum Institute.&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;&#x3C;strong&#x3E;In 2002, Michael was the executive director of the Michigan Republican Party. During his tenure, Republicans maintained a majority in the State Senate&#x3C;/strong&#x3E;, increased their majority in the State House, retained the Secretary of State&#x2019;s office, preserved a conservative majority on the Supreme Court, and, for the first time in forty years, Michigan voters elected a Republican Attorney General.&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;Prior to his work at the Michigan Republican Party, Michael worked as the director of former Michigan Lieutenant Governor Dick Posthumus&#x2019;s political action committee. He also served in a number of roles in the Michigan Legislature including chief of staff to the Chairman of Technology and Energy Committee and &#x3C;strong&#x3E;as finance director of the Senate Republican Campaign Committee. Michael&#x2019;s work on Presidential campaigns began in 1996 as a field representative for the Dole-Kemp campaign.&#x201D;&#x3C;/strong&#x3E;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;
&#x3C;/blockquote&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;The outlet that commissioned the poll is a conservaive entity as well (Washington Free Beacon).&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;Republicans such as the RNC chief Reince Priebus and Karl Rove have made it clear though their Twitter accounts and Super PACS that they want Bernie Sanders to defeat Hillary Clinton in the Democratic Primaries.&#xA0;&#x3C;a href=&#x22;http://www.bloomberg.com/politics/articles/2016-01-19/republican-operatives-are-trying-to-help-bernie-sanders&#x22; target=&#x22;_blank&#x22;&#x3E;www.bloomberg.com/...&#x3C;/a&#x3E;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;I contacted the Huffington Post asking them to place a (R) next to TargetPoint, or not list this poll at all.&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

<title>Sanders cannot pretend to like Obama and ask for revolution at the same time</title>
<link>https://www.dailykos.com/story/2016/2/12/1484086/-Sanders-cannot-pretend-to-like-Obama-and-ask-for-revolution-at-the-same-time</link>
<description>&#x3C;p&#x3E;During the last debate Bernie Sanders said that Hillary ran against Obama. Sanders did not run against Obama.&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;But Bernie Sanders obviously does not think Americans made the right choice by picking Obama, because he says we need a revolution.&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;Sanders doesn&#x27;t think Congress can deliver that revolution, because he is not running for &#xA0;Congress. He is running for Obama&#x27;s job.&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;Sanders cannot pretend to be satisfied with Obama&#x27;s performance and advocate a revolution.&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;Sanders cannot even claim to consider Obama a good (not excellent) President, since revolutions are a drastic change in the ways a nation is managed.&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;One cannot advocate a revolution if one does not think the current leadership &#x3C;strong&#x3E;sucks&#x3C;/strong&#x3E;.&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;Sanders is very dissatisfied with Obama,but he won&#x27;t say it because he fears alienating the many Democrats who like Obama.&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;Be real Bernie. Hillary was &#xA0;supposed to be the inauthentic one. Say that you think Obama is a bad President. It is what you believe.&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;Unless....Sanders is PRETENDING we need a revolution, which is entirely possible as well, if we assume he is a phony.&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

<title>Bernie Sanders questions Obama&#x27;s leadership</title>
<link>https://www.dailykos.com/story/2016/2/11/1483574/-Bernie-Sanders-questions-Obama-s-leadership</link>
<description>&#x3C;p&#x3E;Obama lacks leadership because he has not closed&#xA0;the gap between Congress and the People,&#xA0;Bernie Sanders just said as reported&#xA0;by Politico&#xA0;today:&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;blockquote&#x3E;
&#x3C;p&#x3E;&#x22; &#x201C;There&#x2019;s a huge gap right now between Congress and the American people,&#x201D; Sanders said in an interview with&#x3C;a href=&#x22;http://www.nbcnews.com/politics/2016-election/sanders-obama-hasn-t-closed-presidential-leadership-gap-n516586&#x22; target=&#x22;_blank&#x22;&#x3E;MSNBC&#x3C;/a&#x3E;&#xA0;that will air Thursday on &#x201C;The Last Word with Lawrence O&#x2019;Donnell.&#x201D; &#x201C;What presidential leadership is about [is] closing that gap.&#x201D;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;div&#x3E;
&#x3C;div&#x3E;&#x3C;/div&#x3E;
&#x3C;/div&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;Sanders acknowledged that Obama has tried to bridge the divide &#x3C;strong&#x3E;but said he hasn&#x2019;t succeeded. &#x3C;/strong&#x3E;&#x201C;But I think what we need, when I talk about a political revolution, is bringing millions and millions of people into the political process in a way that does not exist right now,&#x201D; he said.&#x201D;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;
&#x3C;/blockquote&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;&#x3C;a href=&#x22;http://www.politico.com/story/2016/02/bernie-sanders-slams-obama-219131&#x22; target=&#x22;_blank&#x22;&#x3E;www.politico.com/&#x2026;&#x3C;/a&#x3E;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;I&#x27;m not 100% sure what Sanders meant and how he will close this gap himself. Could anyone please explain? Thanks.&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

<title>Former White House Press Secretary: Obama prefers Clinton over Sanders (Feb. 10, 2016)</title>
<link>https://www.dailykos.com/story/2016/2/10/1483094/-White-House-Press-Secretary-Obama-prefers-Clinton-over-Sanders-Feb-10-2016</link>
<description>&#x3C;p&#x3E;Wow.&#xA0;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;blockquote&#x3E;
&#x3C;p&#x3E;&#x201C;&#xA0;President Obama is rooting for Hillary Clinton over Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) in the Democratic presidential race, according to former White House press secrteary Jay Carney.&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;&#x201C;I think the president has signaled while still remaining neutral that he supports Secretary Clinton&#x2019;s candidacy and would prefer to see her as the nominee,&#x201D; Carney said on&#xA0;&#x3C;a href=&#x22;http://www.cnn.com/2016/02/10/politics/jay-carney-president-obama-supports-hillary-clinton/index.html&#x22; target=&#x22;_blank&#x22;&#x3E;CNN&#x3C;/a&#x3E;.&#x201D;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;
&#x3C;/blockquote&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;&#xA0;&#x3C;a href=&#x22;http://thehill.com/blogs/ballot-box/presidential-races/268994-jay-carney-obama-would-prefer-clinton-over-sanders&#x22; target=&#x22;_blank&#x22;&#x3E;thehill.com/&#x2026;&#x3C;/a&#x3E;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;Obama prefers Clinton.&#xA0;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;Let&#x27;s see how many media outlets report this. Imagine that the former White House press secrteary had said Obama prefers Sanders. They would have declared the race over before I hit &#x201C;publish&#x201D;.&#xA0;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

<title>Obama throws shade at Bernie and his supporters</title>
<link>https://www.dailykos.com/story/2016/2/10/1483003/-Obama-throws-shade-at-Bernie-and-his-supporters</link>
<description>&#x3C;p&#x3E;In a clear reference to Bernie Sanders and Donald Trump supporters, President Obama told CBS in an Tuesday interview that sometimes voters let their &#x22;passion&#x22; do the picking for them, instead of using reason.&#xA0; This article sums it all up:&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;blockquote&#x3E;
&#x3C;p&#x3E;&#x22;In an interview with CBS, President Barack Obama admitted that he was surprised by the rise of presidential hopefuls Donald Trump and Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders. But that surprise only goes so far, he said, because at this point in the electoral process, voters are behaving more passionately than practically. The pre-recorded interview aired on Tuesday.&#x22; &#x3C;a href=&#x22;http://www.attn.com/stories/5803/obama-speculates-bernie-sanders-donald-trump&#x22; target=&#x22;_blank&#x22; title=&#x22;&#x22;&#x3E;www.attn.com/...&#x3C;/a&#x3E;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;
&#x3C;/blockquote&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;Obama has made it clear he prefers Clinton over Sanders.&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;If I were Sanders I would not respond to Obama, lest his paltry support among African American voters sinks further.&#xA0;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

<title>Their final NH poll is in: Sanders +26. Will CNN finally be right?</title>
<link>https://www.dailykos.com/story/2016/2/9/1482139/-Their-final-NH-poll-is-in-Sanders-26-Will-CNN-finally-be-right</link>
<description>&#x3C;p&#x3E;CNN, which has performed horribly in primary contests in the past, has an opportunity for vindication tonight when Bernie Sanders and Hillary Clinton face off in New Hampshire.&#xA0;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;If Bernie Sanders wins by a margin of 26 or a close approximate, CNN&#x27;s reputation for commissioning good&#xA0;polls will recover somewhat.&#xA0;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;On the other hand, if Sanders wins by 12% or so (as predicted by most other recent NH polls),&#xA0;&#xA0;the question will remain as&#xA0;&#xA0;to what is wrong with CNN polls and why the media provides CNN polls with immense coverage despite its inaccurate &#xA0;performance.&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;Grab the popcorn and stay tuned.&#xA0;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

<title>North Carolina poll: Clinton crushes Sanders</title>
<link>https://www.dailykos.com/story/2016/2/8/1481782/-North-Carolina-poll-Clinton-crushes-Sanders</link>
<description>&#x3C;p&#x3E;A new High Point University in North Carolina shows Hillary Clinton ahead of Bernie Sanders by a margin of 26%, that is, &#xA0;55-29%. &#xA0;&#x3C;span&#x3E;http://bit.ly/1Q3BLrc&#x3C;/span&#x3E;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;At this point in 2008, Obama topped Clinton in the NC polls. This spells trouble for Bernie and those theorizing that history will repeat itself. &#xA0; &#x3C;a href=&#x22;http://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/2008/president/nc/north_carolina_democratic_primary-275.html#polls&#x22; target=&#x22;_blank&#x22;&#x3E;www.realclearpolitics.com/...&#x3C;/a&#x3E;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;Bernie&#x27;s revolution goes hand in hand with the notion that the first African American President of the United States has not done a good job improving the lives of the People. This may be affecting Sanders in a negative way among African American voters.&#xA0;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

<title>Michael Moore scolds Obama: &#x22;do some of the things we elected you to do&#x22;</title>
<link>https://www.dailykos.com/story/2016/2/8/1481611/-Michael-Moore-scolds-Obama-do-some-of-the-things-we-elected-you-to-do</link>
<description>&#x3C;p&#x3E;President Obama is not showing initiative and should do what voters elected him to do, he said in January while talking to Megyn Kelly in Fox. Fox loved the quote so much that it tweeted it.&#xA0;
&#x3C;a href=&#x22;https://mobile.twitter.com/FoxNews/status/692175071922749443&#x22; target=&#x22;_blank&#x22;&#x3E;mobile.twitter.com/...&#x3C;/a&#x3E;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;Additionally, Salon reported that Moore slammed Obama for not implementing single payer during his Presidency.&#xA0;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;blockquote&#x3E;
&#x3C;p&#x3E;&#x22; The pair also discussed the legacy of the current president, with Moore lamenting that he hadn&#x2019;t been able to accomplish more during his eight years in office &#x2014; in particular, that he wished Obama had implemented a single-payer healthcare system, and that he had followed through on his campaign promise to close down Guantanamo Bay.&#x22; &#xA0;http://www.salon.com/2016/01/27/michael_moore_lights_into_donald_trump_for_backing_out_of_megyn_kelly_hosted_debate_what_is_he_afraid_of/&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

<title>Attorney who represented Trayvon, Mike Brown, endorses Hillary Clinton</title>
<link>https://www.dailykos.com/story/2016/2/6/1481026/-Attorney-who-represented-Trayvon-Mike-Brown-endorses-Hillary-Clinton</link>
<description>&#x3C;p&#x3E;The prominent civil rights lawyer who fought for justice in the Trayvon Martin and Michael Brown case just endorsed Hillary Clinton.&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;This is a very important endorsement which should boost Clinton&#x27;s already good standing among not only African Americas but among civil rights advocates. Every person should be recognize the huge contributions to society made by this warrior. &#xA0;&#xA0;&#x3C;a href=&#x22;http://newsone.com/3352513/ben-crump-to-endorse-hillary-clinton/&#x22; target=&#x22;_blank&#x22; title=&#x22;&#x22;&#x3E;newsone.com/...&#x3C;/a&#x3E;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;His name is Ben Crump, and he has already discussed issues such as poverty and mass incarceration with Hillary, according to the article.&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;Kudos to Mrs.Clinton.&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

<title>New Michigan poll is bad news for Bernie Sanders</title>
<link>https://www.dailykos.com/story/2016/2/6/1480915/-New-Michigan-poll-is-bad-news-for-Bernie-Sanders</link>
<description>&#x3C;p&#x3E;As is the case in several &#xA0;other states where non-white people exist, Hillary Clinton holds a very big lead according to a new poll in the Wolverine state:&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;blockquote&#x3E;
&#x3C;p&#x3E;&#x3C;span&#x3E;In a poll from political newsletter Inside Michigan Politics and polling firm Target Insyght, Clinton leads Sanders 62 percent to 30 percent with 7 percent of voters undecided. The poll automatically dialed 400 likely Michigan Democratic primary voters from Feb. 2 through Feb. 4, and the margin of error is 5 percent.&#x3C;/span&#x3E;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;
&#x3C;/blockquote&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;Link &#xA0;&#x3C;a href=&#x22;http://www.mlive.com/news/index.ssf/2016/02/bernie_sanders_hillary_clinton.html&#x22; target=&#x22;_blank&#x22;&#x3E;www.mlive.com/&#x2026;&#x3C;/a&#x3E;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;This supports the&#xA0;theory that New Hampshire and Vermont are all Sanders has, but anything could happen. We&#x27;ll see.&#xA0;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;Tomorrow : new Georgia poll is bad news for Bernie Sanders.&#xA0;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

<title>Sanders: &#x22;real&#x201D; joblessness rate is closer to 10 percent&#x22;</title>
<link>https://www.dailykos.com/story/2016/2/6/1480812/-Sanders-real-joblessness-rate-is-closer-to-10-percent</link>
<description>&#x3C;p&#x3E;The latest job report found the unemployment rate at 4.9%. Bernie Sanders quickly used the right wing tactic of pretending that the joblessness rate is actually a different measure. 10%, to be specific, Sanders said. &#xA0;http://thehill.com/blogs/ballot-box/presidential-races/268386-sanders-lukewarm-on-jobs-report&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;Sanders conveniently left out what the comparable &#x22;measure was BEFORE Obama became President.&#xA0;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;Sanders needs to look at the half-empty glass in order to successfully ride his unicorn. Comparing statistics under Bush vs. Obama is a no-no for his purposes.&#xA0;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;Reminder to Bernie: The unemployment rate is 4.9%.&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;4.9%.&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;4.9%.&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;Sanders supporters are hereby respectfully asked to provide the unemployment rate when Obama took office if we used Sanders&#x2019; methodology.&#xA0;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

<title>New Georgia poll: bad news for Bernie</title>
<link>https://www.dailykos.com/story/2016/2/5/1480749/-New-Georgia-poll-bad-news-for-Bernie</link>
<description>&#x3C;p&#x3E;With 24 days to go, Hillary Clinton leads Sanders 63%-22% in a new Landmark Poll conducted February 4th. &#x3C;a href=&#x22;https://t.co/Dwx6PWarzD&#x22; target=&#x22;_blank&#x22;&#x3E;Link&#xA0;&#x3C;/a&#x3E;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;For context, Hillary never led Obama in Georgia during 2008. Not once.&#xA0;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;Clinton&#x2019;s lead here is due to the existence of people who are non-white, as well as the existence of &#x3C;em&#x3E;moderate&#x3C;/em&#x3E; Democrats, whom Bernie doesn&#x27;t really like a lot.&#xA0;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

<title>Experts dismiss Quinnipiac national poll (with Sanders down by just 2%) as an &#x22;outlier&#x22;</title>
<link>https://www.dailykos.com/story/2016/2/5/1480458/-Experts-dismiss-Quinnipiac-national-poll-with-Sanders-down-by-just-2-as-an-outlier</link>
<description>&#x3C;p&#x3E;Experts have dismissed a new &#x3C;a href=&#x22;http://www.quinnipiac.edu/news-and-events/quinnipiac-university-poll/national/release-detail?ReleaseID=2321&#x22; target=&#x22;_blank&#x22;&#x3E;Quinnipiac poll &#x3C;/a&#x3E; poll showing Bernie Sanders within 2 points of Hillary Clinton as an outlier. &#xA0;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;The Washington Post&#x27;s political blog tells it&#x27;s readers to &#x22;be skeptical&#x22; of this &#x22;outlier&#x22; poll. &#x3C;a href=&#x22;https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/the-fix/wp/2016/02/05/the-first-national-poll-since-iowa-shows-the-closest-democratic-margin-yet/&#x22; target=&#x22;_blank&#x22;&#x3E;www.washingtonpost.com/...&#x3C;/a&#x3E;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;Harry Enten of the website fivethirtyeight.com says he needs more confirmation. &#x3C;a href=&#x22;https://mobile.twitter.com/ForecasterEnten/status/695590236009713664&#x22; target=&#x22;_blank&#x22;&#x3E;mobile.twitter.com/&#x2026;&#x3C;/a&#x3E;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;In a separate tweet, Enten said Quinnipiac&#x2019;s Iowa forecast was &#x201C;particularly bad&#x201D;.&#xA0;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;The media has given this poll large coverage while ignoring others showing Clinton&#x27;s lead to be approximately 16%.&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;Quinnipiac recently picked the wrong winner in both Iowa contests (Sanders and Trump).&#xA0;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;Update: Clinton pollster on Quinnipiac: &#x201C;look at the credibility of the source&#x201D; &#xA0;&#x3C;a href=&#x22;https://mobile.twitter.com/gdebenedetti/status/695608284678594560&#x22; target=&#x22;_blank&#x22;&#x3E;mobile.twitter.com/...&#x3C;/a&#x3E;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

<title>CNN, please stop polling primaries.</title>
<link>https://www.dailykos.com/story/2016/2/5/1480347/-CNN-please-stop-polling-primaries</link>
<description>&#x3C;p&#x3E;This diary examines the extent to which CNN commissions inaccurate polls.&#xA0;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;In 2008, Obama won Iowa by 8% and Hillary took New Hampshire by 3%.. CNN picked the loser in both contests (Hillary in Iowa by 2% and Obama in New Hampshire by 9%).&#xA0;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;In 2016, their final Iowa polls had Sanders by 8% and Trump by 11%, thus sucking again.&#xA0;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;In 2012 CNN picked Romney over Santorum, although the margin wasn&#x27;t that bad.&#xA0;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;If you are a gambler, picking whoever CNN thinks will lose is guaranteed to make you rich.&#xA0;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;Gallup deserves credit for ceasing to poll elections as soon as it was evident that they didn&#x27;t know what they were doing. CNN should follow suit and give up primary polling now before they embarrass themselves further.&#xA0;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

<title>Black people &#x22;far worse&#x22; under Obama, says Sanders&#x27; NAACP endorser</title>
<link>https://www.dailykos.com/story/2016/2/4/1480051/-Black-people-worse-off-under-Obama-says-Sanders-NAACP-endorser</link>
<description>&#x3C;p&#x3E;Former NAACP chief Ben Jealous just endorsed Bernie Sanders. &#x3C;a href=&#x22;http://www.cnn.com/2016/02/04/politics/bernie-sanders-ben-jealous-endorsement-naacp/&#x22; target=&#x22;_blank&#x22;&#x3E;www.cnn.com/...&#x3C;/a&#x3E;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;&#xA0;Like Cornell West, Jealous believes Obama is a bad President.&#xA0; This is from 2013:&#xA0;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;blockquote&#x3E;
&#x3C;p&#x3E;&#x22;NAACP President and CEO Benjamin Jealous said Sunday, perhaps unwittingly, that black Americans &#x201C;are doing far worse&#x201D; than when President Obama first took office.&#x22;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;
&#x3C;/blockquote&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/01/29/naacp-president-benjamin-jealous_n_2573172.html&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;Bernie Sanders has run largely by mingling with Obama opponents and by proposing a &#x22;revolution&#x22;, which implies things are not going well at all under President Barack Obama.&#xA0;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;On the other hand, Hillary Clinton has highlighted her many common agreements with the President.&#xA0;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

<title>CRFB: Sanders&#x27; health plan would fall short by $3 trillion</title>
<link>https://www.dailykos.com/story/2016/2/4/1479728/-CRFB-Sanders-health-plan-would-fall-short-by-3-trillion</link>

&#x3C;figure class=&#x22;image-captioned align-right&#x22;&#x3E;&#x3C;img alt=&#x22;single_payer_net_cost_4_(1).jpg&#x22; src=&#x22;http://images.dailykos.com/images/204766/large/single_payer_net_cost_4_(1).jpg?1454584281&#x22; title=&#x22;single_payer_net_cost_4_(1).jpg&#x22;&#x3E;
&#x3C;figcaption&#x3E;&#x3C;/figcaption&#x3E;
&#x3C;/figure&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;A new report by the Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget just found that Bernie Sanders&#x27; health care plan would be very expensive, with its costs outweighing the savings by trillions. A chart highlights Sanders&#x27; unwarranted optimism, compared to what independent analysts say:&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;The report has been picked up by CNN on February 3rd, 2016: &#x3C;a href=&#x22;http://www.kspr.com/life/money/bernie-sanders-plan-to-pay-for-health-care-falls-short-by-trillions-says-one-analysis/21052342_37805632&#x22; target=&#x22;_blank&#x22;&#x3E;www.kspr.com/...&#x3C;/a&#x3E;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;CNN notes that &#x22;The group notes that even liberal economists -- who favor taxing the wealthy more -- think a total income tax rate over 73% could end up reducing income tax receipts because they would discourage working, among other things.&#x22;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;On a side note, is worth noting that the plan won&#x27;t pass Congress anyway.&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

<title>Sanders&#x27; fake endorsement problem</title>
<link>https://www.dailykos.com/story/2016/2/4/1479709/-Sanders-fake-endorsement-problem</link>
<description>&#x3C;p&#x3E;Time magazine reports&#xA0;that Bernie Sanders released an ad that falsely implied he was endorsed by two New Hampshire newspapers (Nashua Telegraph and Valley News). The newspapers did not endorse him.&#xA0;&#x3C;a href=&#x22;http://time.com/4206874/bernie-sanders-campaign-ad-valley-news-nashua-telegraph/?xid=tcoshare&#x22; target=&#x22;_blank&#x22;&#x3E;time.com/...&#x3C;/a&#x3E;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;Time observes that&#xA0;this is not the first time Bernie fakes an endorsement:&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;blockquote&#x3E;
&#x3C;p&#x3E;TIME (2/3/2016): &#x201C;&#x3C;span&#x3E;It isn&#x2019;t the first time Sanders ads have suggested that he was endorsed by a regional paper. An ad running last week in Iowa &#x3C;strong&#x3E;cited praise from the Des Moines&#xA0;&#x3C;/strong&#x3E;&#x3C;/span&#x3E;&#x3C;strong&#x3E;&#x3C;em&#x3E;Register&#x3C;/em&#x3E;&#x3C;/strong&#x3E;&#x3C;span&#x3E;&#x3C;strong&#x3E;, without mentioning that the paper endorsed Clinton&#x3C;/strong&#x3E;, the&#xA0;&#x3C;/span&#x3E;&#x3C;a href=&#x22;http://www.nytimes.com/politics/first-draft/2016/01/29/bernie-sanders-trumpets-iowa-papers-praise-unsaid-it-endorsed-hillary-clinton/&#x22;&#x3E;New York&#xA0;&#x3C;em&#x3E;Times&#xA0;&#x3C;/em&#x3E;reports&#x3C;/a&#x3E;&#x3C;span&#x3E;. Newsweek&#xA0;&#x3C;/span&#x3E;&#x3C;span&#x3E;reported last week that Sanders&#x2019; campaign was &#x3C;strong&#x3E;using logos on its fliers from groups that had not endorsed him, including the League of Conservation Voters and the AARP.&#x201D;&#x3C;/strong&#x3E;&#x3C;/span&#x3E;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;
&#x3C;/blockquote&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;But Hillary is the dishonest and Bernie is authentic.&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

<title>Washington Post: Cruz and Sanders are too extreme</title>
<link>https://www.dailykos.com/story/2016/2/3/1479142/-Washington-Post-Cruz-and-Sanders-are-extremists</link>
<description>

&#x3C;blockquote&#x3E;
&#x3C;p&#x3E;&#x22;The majority of Americans are not extreme conservatives or extreme liberals; history suggests they are not going to support, and the democratic system is not going to allow, a revolution or counterrevolution from either side.&#x22;&#xA0;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;
&#x3C;/blockquote&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;That&#x27;s part of a post-Iowa Washington Post editorial highlighting the lack of pragmatism and the dishonesty involved in the promises of Ted Cruz and Bernie Sanders.&#xA0;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;WaPo called Sanders dishonest in health care, as he won&#x27;t tell the negative side of his single payer proposal.&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;blockquote&#x3E;
&#x3C;p&#x3E;&#x3C;em&#x3E;&#x3C;span&#x3E;Carpet-bombing won&#x2019;t defeat the Islamic State, no matter what Mr.&#xA0;Cruz says. Mr.&#xA0;Sanders has yet to grapple honestly with the cost of a single-payer health-care system. Mexico is not going to pay for a wall on the U.S.-Mexican border.&#xA0;&#x3C;/span&#x3E;&#x3C;/em&#x3E;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;
&#x3C;/blockquote&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;Prominent economists such as Nobel prize winner Paul Krugman have likewise criticized Sanders&#x2019; health plan.&#xA0;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

<title>NBC/WSJ poll is the only poll showing a Clinton decline</title>
<link>https://www.dailykos.com/story/2015/12/14/1460243/-NBC-WSJ-poll-is-the-only-poll-showing-a-Clinton-decline</link>
<description>&#x3C;p&#x3E;A review of polls shows that in the most recent Quinnipiac, IBD/Tipp and CBS polls, Clinton has either remained stable or increased her national lead over Sanders compared to the previous corresponding poll.&#xA0;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;It appears to be the case that NBC/WSJ was an outlier in October when it gave Clinton a 30+ lead and now it is falling in line with the rest of polls. The new NBC/WSJ poll shows Clinton at 19%. The sharp decline hasn&#x27;t been replicated and should therefore be considered an aberration.&#xA0;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;You may verify this here: &#xA0;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

<title>Hillary&#x27;s lead increases 2% in New Iowa poll (Selzer-DMR)</title>
<link>https://www.dailykos.com/story/2015/12/14/1460051/-Hillary-s-lead-increases-4-in-New-Iowa-poll-Selzer-DMR</link>
<description>&#x3C;p&#x3E;Good news for Bernie Sanders in&#xA0;a new NBC/WSJ national poll didn&#x27;t last long, as a new Iowa poll shows that&#xA0;Hillary Clinton, whose lead was 7% in the previous Selzer poll, has now a 9% lead in that same poll. &#xA0;&#x3C;a href=&#x22;http://www.desmoinesregister.com/story/news/elections/presidential/caucus/2015/12/14/clinton-builds-lead-over-sanders-new-iowa-poll-shows/77213730/&#x22; target=&#x22;_blank&#x22;&#x3E;Link&#x3C;/a&#x3E;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;Although this is bad news for Bernie, there are still 50 days until the Iowa caucus. A miracle is possible, but the fact that Obama&#xA0;did not trail Hillary by 11% in any&#xA0; Iowa polls at a comparable time in 2007 (in fact, he was ahead in some of them) should be a depressant for his supporters.&#xA0;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;
