<title>A New Basis for Corporate Taxation.</title>
<link>https://www.dailykos.com/story/2015/7/6/1399492/-A-New-Basis-for-Corporate-Taxation</link>
<description>
&#x3C;p&#x3E;If corporations are people, why then are they not taxed like individuals?&#x3C;/p&#x3E;
&#x3C;p&#x3E;Why is corporate taxation a &#x22;flat tax&#x22; while every other individual pays into a progressive system?&#x3C;/p&#x3E;
&#x3C;p&#x3E;But don&#x27;t get me going on this corporations are people tripe. &#x26;nbsp;That isn&#x27;t quite where I was going with this notion to tax corporations on a progressive scale.&#x3C;/p&#x3E;
&#x3C;p&#x3E;And I&#x27;m not proposing to tax corporations based on the raw amount of their stated profits as one might naturally be inclined to think would be the fundamental basis for any progressive formula.&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

<title>The Ballad of Jeb Bush</title>
<link>https://www.dailykos.com/story/2015/6/15/1393433/-The-Ballad-of-Jeb-Bush</link>
<description>
&#x3C;div class=&#x22;dkimg-c&#x22;&#x3E;&#x3C;span class=&#x22;image_container&#x22;&#x3E;&#x3C;img src=&#x22;https://s3.amazonaws.com/dk-production/images_placeholders/deleted_large.png?1434387879&#x22; alt=&#x22;&#x22; width=&#x22;550&#x22; height=&#x22;466&#x22; /&#x3E;&#x3C;/span&#x3E;&#x3C;/div&#x3E;
In anticipation of today&#x27;s unfortunate announcement that a third member of the Bush family might be propelled into the Oval Office, I wrote this little ditty inspired by their simple charms.
&#x3C;p&#x3E;I hope this helps get some of us through this day dominated by Jeb&#x27;s down-home drivel.&#x3C;/p&#x3E;
&#x3C;p&#x3E;My prediction: The one who fakes sincerity the best in 2016 wil be our next president.&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

<title>Political Football over Healthcare. &#x26;#160;</title>
<link>https://www.dailykos.com/story/2009/8/17/768222/-Political-Football-over-Healthcare-160</link>
<description>&#x3C;p&#x3E;America loves sports and the analogy has been often made that in the spirit of bipartisanship in the healthcare debate, opposing camps need to meet somewhere between the 40-yard-lines. If we were to set Democrats and Republicans on opposite goal lines, let&#x27;s see where the referees currently have the ball marked on the field.&#x3C;/p&#x3E;
