So this may not be diary worthy but local media in Ottawa reported this morning that Condi Rice canceled some interviews etc and rushed back to Washington based upon a phone call.

Fitzmas, something else or perhaps a couple of questions for Mrs. VP?

I have no idea take it for what it is but it is interesting.

As a side note her time up here led to just about zero forward movement on the issue that Canada cares about. With one possible exception there was a vague promise about working together to fight the amount of illegal guns coming from the States. Oh and no link it was a radio station that reported this.
