No wonder the national Republican Party and Club for Growth are dumping $350K to tell the people of this district how
scary and
liberal Democrat Scott Kleeb is. Their own internals must look as bad for their side, as Kleeb's own numbers look good for our side in the open race for Nebraska 3rd CD:
Penn, Schoen & Berland (D) for Scott Kleeb for Congress. 10/29. Likely voters (9/20-21 results)
All Dem Rep Ind
Smith (R) 40 (40) 12 62 29
Kleeb (D) 46 (31) 80 21 55
Adrian Smith started this race with a huge 33 point lead, but for months our polling has shown that he has been unable to close the deal with 3rd District voters. He has now lost his lead. Scott Kleeb is in the driver's seat of this race and has the momentum to become the next United States Representative from Nebraska's 3rd Congressional District.
Amongst those "absolutely certain to vote" (whatever that means), Kleeb's lead is 48-40. Amongst those who have seen Kleeb's television ads, its 52-36 Kleeb. Amongst those who haven't seen his ads, Kleeb trails 45-37.
This is the first time that Kleeb has led in its internals. There's a reason the GOP and Club for Growth are running scared.
