Now, there's no screening for registered voters or likely voters or a head-to-head with his Democratic opponent Jack Davis. I suspect those numbers are coming (it takes longer to collect screened numbers than just the first 500 adults they reach at home).
But this shows just how deep discontent to how Reynolds has handled the matter in his own district, and given the low number of undecideds (14%), it's clear that the story has gotten serious attention and traction in the district. This is Reynold's biggest nightmare.
And this is the guy in charge of ensuring GOP majorities in the House this fall. That's why he looked the other way rather than confront a sexual predator in the GOP caucus. It was better to suffer a dangerous predator than risk having to spend millions defending Foley's seat. And even when Foley expressed interest in retiring, Reynolds insisted he stick around.
But now, instead of working for a continued House majority, Reynolds is en route to an ignoble and well-deserved defeat.
