Republicans are up to their dirty tricks. Here in New Mexico, the Republican party is calling non-republican voters and telling them the wrong voting places.

The State Dem Party has filed a lawsuit preventing the repubs from calling dems before the election, the emergency court hearing is today.

The number of calls made to dems and some greens was around 35,000. That may not sound like a lot but with the Madrid-Wilson race in CD-1 going down to the wire even 1000 votes could mean the difference.

As for the latest poll in the race: Madrid is up 49-44. With leaners it is 50-45.

Every poll has shown Madrid up and this poll done by the Albuquerque Journal is probably the most accurate. I see a lot of excitement here with early voting at record highs. No info on which candidate has done better in early voting.

Many New Mexicans are complaining about the all paper ballot. We switched to it this year and to me it is a much more reliable system.
