YearlyKos seems so long ago doesn't it?

Yet it was only five months ago when I asked you for three things:

1.    Call Republicans and their friends in the media on their crass and hypocritical political games
2.    Make it clear where Democrats stand
3.    Never give up

Thank you for doing all of this and more. Because of you, no attack went unanswered. Because of you no lie avoided the truth. Because of you no distortion became a distraction to Democrats.

In the past five months, you have donated countless hours exposing Republicans and volunteering for Democratic candidates. Your Actblue page has raised more than $1.5 million, more than $500,000 of that for Senate candidates.

Thank you for everything you have done. Without the netroots, Democrats would not be in the position we are in today. It is as simple as that.

Today, you know what needs to be done - go vote, take your friends to vote, call your family members and make sure they are voting. If they ask why they should vote for Democrats, tell them one reason:

Republicans want to stay the course, here at home and in Iraq and Democrats want to change the course and lead the country forward in a new direction.

I wanted to speak with you directly, so I prepared a short Youtube video.

This is a busy day for all of us. However, I will try to respond in the comments to any questions you have throughout the day.

And remember, the fight does not end today. Taking back our country won't happen over night. Moving in a new direction will take time and I am grateful we are all in this together.
