Virtually identical text was written and published by the noted conservative humorist P.J. O'Rourke in his chapter "Real Parties" from his book "Modern Manners," at page 176 and onward.

Log onto Amazon.com, do a search of the book, and see for yourself.

I cannot believe that the Post is now employing a plagiarist.
