I could not believe the discussion, it was looking at whether or not cell phones could have worked on "Flight 93". The person they had on was communications expert of some kind. I tuned in in the middle of the segment so I missed his last name, but his first name was Ron. I have been to their website, but they keep no transcripts of guest listings. Which it somewhat typical if you do not want your lies to come back and bite you in the butt.
Anyway Rose(I told you about Tokyo Rose also) and the guest, agreed that the cell phones could not have picked up the signals fast enough to work, even if they were at an altitude low enough to work. The planes in all cases were moving to fast to lock on a signal. Also, another factor is that the phones would have interfered with the cockpit instruments. Now the brain that he is Jim Quinn that is, was arguing that if they would have put the phones to the windows they might have picked up a signal. (I really hope he was trying to play comic relief.)
Now when Todd Beamer the person that supposedly shouted the phrase that the administration used as their battle cry, "Let's Roll" by their own words could not have happened. If you read the "Urban Legends" page on this, Todd was on a cell phone, in touch with a GTE operator.
We do know the final thoughts and words of Todd Beamer, a 32-year-old Oracle Corporation account manager from Cranbury, N.J., with a wife and two young sons (and a third child on the way), who was traveling to California for a September 11 business meeting on Flight 93. Somehow, Beamer's cell phone call from Flight 93 was routed to Lisa Jefferson, a supervisor with the GTE Customer Center in Oakbrook, Illinois. As Mrs. Jefferson proceeded down the checklist in GTE's "distress call" manual, Beamer relayed the details of their situation: number of passengers, number of hijackers, weapons carried by the hijackers, etc. As reported in Newsweek's "The Real Story of Flight 93," Beamer's last words to Lisa Jefferson included a recitation of the Lord's Prayer.
Acorrding to a report on The Pittsburgh Channel,
Todd placed a call on one of the Boeing 757's on-board telephones and spoke for 13 minutes with GTE operator Lisa D. Jefferson, Beamer's wife said.
Now in all honesty, do we really thing that the hijackers would let the passengers talk on the phone for that long. Now speaking of hijackers if you check the passenger list there are no Arab names on the list.

Yes they might have used false names, but the passport that supposedly fell into the hands of the FBI at the Towers was that of an Arab. In addition, when checking in for your flight even before 9-11 you had to show a picture ID, and the photo had to match that on the ground manifesto. The standard process when I flew out of Pittsburgh, you were asked this set of questions; "Did you pack your own luggage? Have you had it in your possession at all times?" Then you are asked for a photo ID. The name on the ID must match the name on the ticket. The photo must match the person presenting the card." And, you guessed it; the name on the ID must match that on the passenger manifest held by the airline ground staff!
So there are many things that do not add up about things that we are being told happened on that day. Something that was asked last night in a discussion on this topic got me to thinking, "Why is it that from day one, the administration was trying to make heroes out of the people on flight 93?" Part 2 later, "Was "93" Shot Down?"
