YearlyKos gets lots of media coverage in the New York Times, TIME, and the local media as well. (You can read more press on it here). Peter Daou has some great analysis of the coverage thus far:

YearlyKos is certainly a milestone in the growing legitimacy of the blog world. But Dowd and Nagourney seem to believe that cross-pollination among the netroots, the traditional media and the political establishment somehow represents the annexation of the netroots by the establishment. That's like saying the political establishment is becoming the media because of politicians-turned-pundits.
The blogosphere is a new power base, a stand-alone entity with its own ethos. The real question for the progressive netroots and the establishment media alike is whether or not the online community will prevail upon the media to stop caving in to rightwing pressure. It's a war between two distinct centers of political power and the media's strategy appears to be a hodge podge of misunderstanding, misstating, and marginalizing the blogs.

Jack Cafferty, the man who once said that Arlen Specter was the only thing standing between us and a "full blown dictatorship," has received a wake-up call. First, commenting on the Cheney-Specter dance about calling telecom execs to testify, Cafferty called Specter a "gutless" Republican worm for caving in to Cheney. And now, with Specter proposing blanket amnesty for anyone involved in the illegal spying program, Cafferty keeps hitting the issue, hard.
Via Think Progress, Mary Matlin refuses to condemn Ann Coulter's vile comments about the 9/11 widows:

IMUS: But i'm surprised that you won't condemn her for these repugnant remarks.
MATLIN: I don't know her. I haven't read the book.
IMUS: You don't have to know her. You know what Hitler did. Did you you him? You condemn what he did.
MATLIN: Are you comparing her to Hitler?
IMUS: No, I'm not. Of course not.
MATLIN: This is the point. This is complete the point she's making. These lefty crazy people go around calling us [unintelligible] and Hitlers and Nazis and everything and nobody say anything. She calls somebody a harpy and you'd think that the whole world was on fire.
