Vote to Send Edwards to Rally for House Democrats

This fall, John Edwards will headline fundraisers for two Democrats running for the House of Representatives who have been selected by the online community. You can choose among 47 candidates and districts targeted by the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (mostly from the Red-to-Blue List and the Top 10 Endangered Incumbents) that will help Democrats gain a majority in the House of Representatives so as to improve the lives of Americans, really fullfill its constitutional duty of executive branch oversight, and improve our chances of taking the White House in 2008.

These are obviously highly competitive races from all over the country that could use a boost. Decide where you think Edwards' efforts will do the most good, and cast your vote. You can pick as many as you want (although if you may want to stick with 2-5).

Edwards is committed to helping as many candidates as possible before November. He has already raised $6.65 million for Democrats and attended fundraisers for strong congressional candidates in more than a dozen states this election cylce.

Vote at the One America Committee. The deadline is 4 August.

Disclaimer: Yes, this also appears to be a way for OAC to get the email addresses of committed Democrats (since you need to give it to vote) as other PACs have done. Still, it doesn't appear you're signing up for anything and you can always delete yourself from any future list you're put on (maybe they just want to keep people from voting multiple times, I really don't know). And, maybe you do want to be on John's email list.
