What our "friends" the British now think of us thanks to Bush:

People in Britain view the United States as a vulgar, crime-ridden society obsessed with money and led by an incompetent president whose Iraq policy is failing, according to a newspaper poll.
The best part of the TNR dustup is that it gave us a new hilarious whipping boy in Lee Siegel. And James Wolcott hasn't let up.
Bluegrass Report has poll numbers that don't auger well for Republican (and embattled) Reps. Geoff Davis and Anne Northup.
Just a reminder -- Lieberman has abandoned the Democratic Party. There is no such thing as a "petitioning Democrat". Nice try, though.
My 2 1/2 is quite the little Republican. He doesn't share. Everything belongs to him. His favorite word is "mine". And if he gets angry, he hits people. But there's hope.
Ha ha, the Free Republic, Malkin and their little racist gang have been promoting this big protest in front of the NY Times today. They got 20 people. Stoller took pictures. Stoller promises more details in a post tonight.
