Y'know, Chuckles, I came to your site in good faith. I was still a good wingnut, if not at all happy about george w. bush and the crapstorm he had lately stirred up in Iraq. I chose the name "Sura 109" as a jeer at the Islam über Alles crowd -- look, religious tolerance is right there in their own scripture, and they're not following it! (Wingnuts have their answers to that, which I needn't rehash here.)
Trouble is, I was a sane person in a very insane part of the blogosphere. Someone who saw it as a worthy project to oppose the Islam über Alles crowd in a place that saw Islam tout court as the threat. Someone who dared criticize the Wholly Profit George (PBUH, and the P does not stand for peace) in your unholy temple of Busholatry.
And y'know, Chuckles, it was you who pointed me to Daily Kos. You obsess over Markos and this website; hardly a week passes that you don't front-page some Daily Kos diary, usually posted by some loose cannon. You obsess even more because Markos hardly gives your little pissant wrong-wing hatefest the time of day. It was you and your goose-stepping lizardoid minions who showed me in living color the evil that lurks beneath the American right.
It was you, Charles Foster Johnson, who made a Kossack out of me.
And I suppose I ought to thank you for that.
