It was amazing to see so many events planned for the next week to 10 days--the American fightin' spirit is not dead! A quite extensive list of around 100 different events can be found here. EAST COAST
Washington, D.C.
March on Washington, meet in front of the White House at noon, Saturday, September 15, 2007, register online (or not).
"Join Iraq Veterans Against the War, Veterans for Peace, Camp Casey Peace Institute, the ANSWER Coalition, Muslim American Society Freedom Foundation, National Council of Arab-Americans, Grassroots America, Hip Hop Caucus, and thousands of others in Washington DC on September 15 for a huge antiwar protest timed to coincide with the report by General Petraeus on the "Surge" in Iraq."

Real Angels Don't Drop Bombs, hosted by Maine Veterans for Peace. Meet Saturday, September 15, 2007 at 8AM on the Brunswich Green, to march to the Naval Air Station, rally following.
"Navy planes from NASB routinely fly surveillance and reconnaissance missions over Iraq calling in air strikes—many of which kill innocent Iraqi civilians. Recent news reports have indicated that the U.S. is now escalating this air offensive in Iraq."

College Station, TX
Major Anti-War Protest,, Thursday, Sept. 20, 2007, at the TAMU corner of University Drive and Texas Avenue.
"We will begin gathering at 5:00 PM; Texas A&M students will meet at 5:00 at the Century Tree/Academic Building to join a march to the main protest. Speakers at 5:45 PM will be followed at 6:00 PM by a solemn reading of the names of Americans and Iraqis who have died as a result of the war and the American occupation."
